It's another ordinary day in hyeonsak high school for Kim seungmin. He walks in the building and his friends Lee felix and yang jeongin run towards him.

Felix: HEY SEUNGMIN!!! DID YOU HEAR??

*Gosh so loud this early in the morning... * seungmin thought as he pinches his temple and sighs before answering.

Seungmin: please don't scream in my ear fefe... it's 8am, but what do you mean? 'Did you hear'.

Jeongin: apparently there's a new kid joining our school, I have no idea where felix found out about that.

*a new kid? I hope they aren't in my class I HATE meeting new people*

seungmins never been so social, he's quiet and has an attitude but is really sensitive. Just as he was gonna answer the bell rang, they all went to their classes none of them had one together. Ugh So boring...

He sits down in his seat and takes out his pen and notebook. *why the fuck do I have math this early in the morning? let me sleep.* he was about to open his notebook until the teacher, mrs. Park. walks in.

Mrs. Park: hello everyone. We will be starting class shortly but first I will introduce you to someone new.

Seungmins heart sank as he saw mrs park gesture for the person to walk in. Just his luck isn't it?
The being stepping in the classroom caught him by surprise... *he's so handsome. Wait- no seungmin get ahold of yourself!* the boy got infront of the class and gave a heart warming smile and started talking

Chan: good morning! Im your new classmate, bangchan. I hope we get along well!

*bang... bangchan? What for stupid name is that, gosh I already hate him* his thoughts got cut off by chan suddenly sitting next to seungmin. He jolts and quickly rolls his eyes.

Good thing chan didn't say anything to him but he was staring weirdly... what's that about

TIME SKIP: lunchtime

The trio sits down at their table and of course felix is babbling about random shit he has witnessed before, seungmin is asleep he never eats lunch unless jeongin quite actually forces him to, and jeongin is quietly eating his food listening to felix.

Seungmin gets woken up by a tap on the shoulder
Seungmin: what the fuck do you want fel- oh..
He sees the new kid, chan standing next to him. He looks nervous.

Chan: Uhm... hi, do you wanna be friends..? You seem interesting.

Seungmin tries holding in his laugh. *me Interesting? we haven't even talked before.*

Seungmin: ha! Why would I want to be fr-

He gets a hard slap on the head from felix.

Seungmin: ow.. fine I'll be friends with you.

He says as he rolls his eyes and glares at felix who's glaring right back. Chan gives a smile and they exchange numbers

Chan: thank you!! I'll text you later alright?

He runs off and seungmin starts yelling at felix

Seungmin: WHY IN GODS NAME DID YOU SLAP ME!? YOU KNOW I HATE MAKING NEW FRIENDS!

Felix: YOU WERE BEING MEAN! he seems like a nice guy... lighten up for once! He might not be like him you know!? NOT EVERY GUY IS THE SAME.

Silence. Seungmin looks hurt as felix realises what he said and runs away.

Jeongin: minnie.. Are you okay? Felix didn't mean that you know how he is, need a hug?

He says and he walks over to seungmin who is on the verge of tears and hugs him, why did felix have to remind him of that bastard?!

Seungmin: let go please... I just wanna sleep.
Jeongin: I understand. I'll go talk with felix be right back alright!

TIME SKIP: school ends

Seungmin is walking to the convenience store across the street and buys a drink and a sandwich. God he was hungry.

He arrives home 40 minutes later and flops down on his bed, his parents aren't home yet.

*oh? Whats this?* chan texted seungmin an hour ago

Chan:
heyaa how are you doing? U wanna hang out later maybe?

Seungmin pauses. Maybe he should give him a chance?

Seungmin:
busy rn sorry.

Fuck no he isn't busy. Seungmin puts on his headphones and listens to some music and eventually falls asleep.

CHANS POV

*I made a new friend! He doesn't seem so enthusiastic but his friend is funny heh*

He's walking home from school and texts seungmin, when he arrives his parents ask him all sorts of things about his first day. After finally escaping that mess he goes to his room and sees seungmins reply

Chan:
oh ok!! Whenever ure free text me alright good night <3

It's already 7pm. Jesus that was fast, chan gets up from his chair and gets out his homework to make

1 hour later.

Chan: ugh finally done my back hurts so bad I'll see if seungmin has replied yet.

He infact did reply

Seungmin:
why u do the heart lmao gn to u ig?

*oh my god he said good night to me!!!* Chans practically giggling and kicking his feet. He figures he'd also try and get sleep although he knows it won't work.

NEXT DAY + SEUNGMINS POV

Seungmin wakes up from his slumber at 6:30 gets ready for school and what not.

he's now at school and chan approaches him
*ugh what now... I wanna see my friends.*

Chan: hey. Do you want to walk together to class I wanna get to know you better!

Seungmin: no. I'm gonna find my friends first ok.. maybe you can also be friends with them?

He walks off and not even 10 seconds later gets attacked by felix right in front of chan

Jeongin: OH SHIT- YOU OKAY SEUNGMIN?

Jeongin says running to them as felix slams his body against seungmins.

Seungmin: WHAT THE F-

Thud.

Felix: uh oh... I was trying to apologise for yesterday sorry mate...

Chan laughs at the sight and jeongin walks up to him as felix is helping seungmin off the ground

Jeongin: so you're the guy from yesterday right? What's your name .

Chan: oh.. right.. my name is chan
Chan struggles to say in between laughs

Jeongin: cool, I'm jeongin that absolute idiot is felix by the way. Has seungmin been nice to you? He isn't exactly so social

Chan: yeah I noticed I don't mind! I'll try to get him to soften up with me wanna be friends maybe?

Felix suddenly jumps on jeongin back and excitingly yells yes

Chan: wait where seungmin?

Felix: he went to the bathroom but we all need to get to class!! NOW.

He says as he jumps off jeongins back and they all go to their classes.
