3rd POV

Miya Atsumu.

A figment of y/n's past. Someone who she wishes to erase from her distant memory.

Although, y/n had only attended Inarazaki High school for only her second year, that year still made the biggest impact to how her perspective on certain things have been altered.

Memories of her first day of Inarazaki High school rushed back to her, she was new to the region and obviously the school as well. Before she entered the classroom, y/n heard chatters and laughters exhibited from the classroom that she resided for her second year.

Friends huddled in different parts of the classroom as they discussed about what video game they were currently playing, what they have done during their break. Some were even making plans as soon as school ends, as well as what school clubs they could be joining for the new school year.

Adverting all eye contact of her new classmates, y/n looked at the ground counting the steps until she reached the classroom door. As soon as she entered, she felt like an alien on another planet. Most of the students  Inarazaki knew each other from their childhood, of at least from their first year, whereas y/n only arrived in her second year.

Murmurs and whispers surrounded the classroom, as y/n stood in front of the board and next to the teacher.

Badum, badum, badum.

'It's okay, it's okay. You got this!' she thought, trying to stay positive towards her new start towards a new year and school.

"Settle down kiddos, go to your seats. I know it is the first day so I'll let you guys off the hook!" A cheery voice exclaimed from behind y/n. In which, it started y/n just from the suddenness of it all.

"Oh, you must be the new student, l/n y/n, am I not mistaken?" The raven-haired woman said, smiling warmly at y/n. y/n presumed she was her homeroom teacher for her upcoming second year. y/n simply smiled in response to the teacher.

The volume gradually decreased, as the students in the classroom began to shuffle to their assigned seats, until complete silence was reached.

"My name is Ms. Yato, and I'll be your homeroom teacher for Class 2 of Year 2, I hope you guys will treat me well." Ms. Yato shuffled some paper work in her hand, looking over a range of eager and bored  students. "I would also like you all to welcome our new classmate. Please introduce yourself, maybe tell us your name and what school you went to previously and what your favourite food maybe?" She coked her head as well as maintaining her warm smile.

Instead of focusing her attention on her homeroom teacher, y/n shifted her gaze towards the curious eyes of her classmates. Letting out  a deep sigh, y/n proceed her introductory, "My name is l/n y/n, I previously went to Metropolitan Nekoma High School. My favourite food would be f/d, I would like to get to know you guys better," y/n said, finishing off with a smile towards the class.

"Let's give a warm welcome to your new classmate!"

In a classroom filled with attentive eyes, there was only one pair of eyes that was not attentive towards the new student. A boy with blond bleached hair, who found the clicking of his mechanical pencil more interesting than the new student of Inaraizaki.

Click, click, click.

"l/n, you may take a seat next to Miya Atsumu." Ms. Yato gently guided her arm towards the line of desk towards the empty desk beside Atsumu's.

That was when Atsumu's brown orbs gazed upon y/n's e/c orbs for the first time.

"No way this is happening, no fucking way!" She cried out in agony, slamming down the cup of beer in her hand.

"It can't be THAT bad! I mean at least he isn't too bad on the eyes!" y/n's bestie Fumiko consulted, trying to make light of y/n's recent client profile.

"NO, YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND! HE IS THE EPITOME OF THE DEVIL, I MEAN IT!" Still crying in agony, y/n slammed her head down on the table, which resulted in the pair exhibiting annoyed looks from customers of the restaurant as well as staff.

"Hey, lower your voice and stop slamming things down!" Yumiko shook y/n's shoulders.

Ignoring Yumiko's comment on lowering her volume, y/n continued to ramble, "HE IS ALSO A PR NIGHTMARE! I THOUGHT THAT THERE IS NO SUCH A THING AS BAD PUBLICITY, BUT HE LITERALLY JUST CHANGED MY MIND AFTER HEARING THE SCANDALS HE HAD ENDURED THIS PAST MONTH!"

After that loud announcement, no movement can be seen from y/n. Causing Yumiko to have a mini heart attack, however y/n lifted her head up as soon as her phone rang.

"Ughhh, Aki is calling!"

"Go pick up her call, idiot!" Fumiko  shouted, at this point she was sick of y/n's constant nagging of her new client during their after work Friday drinking.

Waving her hand at Fumiko, y/n drank some water to sober herself up a little bit before excusing herself from the table that she previously resided at.

Making her way towards the exit of the bar, y/n picked up the phone, whilst shoving her other unoccupied hand in the pocket of her jacket.

"Hi, what can I help you with Aki," y/n answered as enthusiastically as she could towards her boss.

"Please come to my office tomorrow 8am sharp. You'll be speaking to your new client Miya Atsumu and his agent. I'll be there to coordinate the meeting and help you guys adjust!"

Just when y/n thought her heart couldn't sink any lower, the sudden meeting with Atsumu sent it plummeting even further.
