3rd POV

On the court, a ball gently dropped onto the floor, its first bounce soft and measured. With every rebound, the ball began to pick up in speed, bouncing quicker as it matched the rhythm of the blond individual's breath.

Focus, focus. He thought, still bouncing the ball on the hard surface.

When Atsumu has his focus on something, specifically with his serves, everything else around him disappears. All that is left is simply him, the volleyball, the net and lastly his target.

A good serve is the key to drive the team's motivation.

As the whistle went off, he tossed the ball up. The ball spun in a linear motion upwards then falling, matching up to his jump and connecting to the palm of his hand. Across the net it went, and true to his calling, the ball bounced against the hard surface of the court.

On the court, he did not think of anything else except the match itself. Nothing else that was currently happening in his life mattered. Only the match itself.

Right after the Sakuras vs MSBY's match, the team irrupted in cheer and joy, as they walked their way back to the changing room

Right after the Sakuras vs MSBY's match, the team irrupted in cheer and joy, as they walked their way back to the changing room.
Atsumu, on the other hand, despite being apart of the reason as to why the team had won, did not match the team's spirits.

"Atsumu."
"Yes coach Foster?"
"May I have a word with you?" the team's coach crossed his arms, displaying a disappointed tone, although the team had just won their first match of the season.
The setter sighed, as he complied and followed the team's coach to his office.

"Yikesss, I would hate to be Atsumu right now" Bokuto shivered in agony, thinking about the reaction coach Foster would be giving to the setter, which could range to a yell to even more yelling.

"The conversion was bound to happen, after all  he did make it to every news outlet in Japan"
said the outside hitter, Sakusa as he adjusts the face mask over his face.

"I still can't help but feel bad for him," Hinata says, as he shook his head looking downwards.

Following behind the coach, the blond's forehead began to sweat, not only from the intense match but also from what was to be unfolded once he makes it to the coach's office

Following behind the coach, the blond's forehead began to sweat, not only from the intense match but also from what was to be unfolded once he makes it to the coach's office.

Once they had reached the office, the coach Foster angrily unlocked the door, and held the door open, signalling Atsumu to enter.

Hastily, the blond sat on one of the chairs making himself seem composed, as if his heart wasn't beating over 100 beats per minute.

lup-dop. lup-dop. lup-dop

"Do you know why you're here, Atsumu?" Coach Foster lightly slams the door, approaching the chair parallel to the setter.

The setter did not know how to respond. After all if he was to admit that he did, then it would be admitting that he did know the repercussions of his recklessness actions, prior to committing them. However, if he did not admit to it, then it'll mean that he did not care about the actions he had made.

As a response to coach's answer, Atsumu simply replied with a smile, "Because you wanted to speak to your favourite player?"

"Don't give me that bullshit and this is no matter for joking."
The coach took out a newspaper, from underneath the coffee table, it was one of Japan's top newspaper agency and slammed it down on the coffee table.

"you know damn well, why you are here."

On the newspaper it read, 'MSBY's, Miya Atsumu gets steamy with rival's mum'.

Atsumu's eyes widen, he could feel his face burning up in embarrassment. Looking the image that was taken as well as the headline used in the newspaper.

"Oh, don't you think that is all."

The coach slammed another newspaper on the coffee table.

'Miya Atsumu (MSBY's setter) gets into a fist fight with a photographer (cameras and hearts have been shattered!)' The headline wrote, paired with an image of his fist mid swing towards that bastard of a paparazzi's face.

"There are more headlines, but we don't have much time on our hands. So, any thoughts Miya?" Coach Foster cocks his head to the side, forming a stone-like face.

"... Sorry?"

"Sorry isn't enough. You have tainted not only yours but the team's reputation."

Atsumu, looked at the ground feeling guilty for his actions.
Honestly, all those images were taken when I wasn't in the right mind and space. That would be what he would say, but who would believe that pathetic of an excuse?

"Yeah I know."

"We chose you, because we know that you're the best setter and you have clearly shown us that you're a powerful vessel towards MSBY, especially with performance today. But, with all of these headlines and scandals you are getting yourself into, we are done of sweeping it all under the rug."

Atsumu had no words, thus he allowed the coach to continue with what he had to say.

"Which is why, you will be assigned your own publicist."

A/N:
I made up the "Sakuras" team, so it's not canon to the original works if Haikyuu!! lmfao

Please don't flame me, I'm just going to alter things around to suit the fanfic and its storyline, (so it does not focus on a specific time frame within the manga series itself.)
