Why was my twin brother in my room? He wasn't supposed to be home for another 3 months.
"Get out please. " I love him, but this is to much to handle. He was doing better yes, but I still can't be in a room with him, ALONE. For gods sake, the kid raped me.
"Now that isn't a very cheery Welcome Home Bro!" He was standing in the door jam of the attic. Our apartment only had 2 rooms, Kyle's and Casey's, for when he got back. I took the attic, it's the biggest anyway.
"Get out Casey, you know we aren't supposed to be in a room together."
"But sis! I wanted a hug!!" I didn't want a hug.
"Casey, please, where is Kyle? Does he kn-" he cut me off
"He's out."
"Out where?"
"Getting some stuff for me, I just got home ya know." My brother look almost identical to me considering me are fraternal twins. He is skinny, yet strong. He has black hair, and bright grey eyes, he gets them from dad.
"You're not getting a hug. I love you and I missed you, but you're not getting a hug." He removed himself from the door jam and walked towards me. I tried to move away but he scooped me up.
"Yeah yeah. Hug me and get this over with."
"CASEY IM HOME!!l" I heard Kyle shout from downstairs.
"If he asks, I'm in the shower!" With that he ran into my makeshift closet, it was closed off by curtains.
"Oh hey Rin, Casey is home, I don't know if you've seen him yet, he misses you."
"Uhh yeah, I think he's in the shower. " I lied right through my teeth, to the best older brother ever.
"Alright. I love you, goodnight." He walked over and kissed the top of my head and walked out.
"You lied for me thanks."
"So why did you wa-" what was with him and cutting me off.
"Suddenly his hands were around my neck, I was lacking air. He pressed me up against the wall, I saw the corners of my eyes blacken. He tightened his grip and the last thing I saw was his smirk and then everything was black.
••MORNING••
I woke up in my bed with nothing on but a giant tee shirt. I grabbed my phone off of the night stand and looked at the time. 1:46 it read, damn I slept in late. I walked downstairs after putting on some shorts.
"Hey sis nice to see you finally woke up." Since when did Casey get home? What happened last night?
"Yeah haha morning. " I left the kitchen and went back to my room, licking the door. I laid on my bed and tried to remember what happened last night. The last thing I remember is Casey pinning me on the wall and choking me. Oh god. I went over to my trash can and looked in it. Just what I thought. There was a condom wrapper in my trash. I held my mouth trying not to cry. I grabbed my phone and called Ryan.
••ON THE PHONE••
Ryan: hey! Rin-
" I'm coming over"
Ryan: well good morning to you too, may I ask why?
"No time for questions I'll explain when I get there."
Ryan: okay..?
••END PHONE CALL••
I grab a clean bra and a blue tank top and a pair of black jean shorts. I throw my hair up into a messy bun and put on my blue vans. I run out of the house saying nothing, I didn't even bother with makeup knowing I'm going to cry.
I get to Ryan's house and walk right in, not even paying attention to his parents. I run up the steps and into his room. He's in the bathroom when I get there so I take off my shoes and slip under the covers. When he gets out of the bathroom he's only wearing a pair of basketball shorts. Damn does he have abs.
"Well that was fast." He laughs but stops when he sees I'm not laughing.
"You okay?" I shook my head. He came over and laid next to me engulfing me in his arms.
"You wanna talk about it?"
"Casey came home last night. "
"I thought you sai-"
"I know what I said, I have no idea why he's even home. " he looked down at me, I noticed he still had his lip ring in. I smiled at that thought.
"So what's the matter? Aren't you happy he's home?"
"Yeah, but something happened."
"Rinae, please don't tell me that h-"
"Yes. He did" I wiggled my face into his chest and started to cry softly. Soon I was crying so much that Ryan's chest became wet.
"Can I move in with you?" I look up to him smiling.
"Of course." I was only joking, but I'd rather live with him than Casey.
"Anything for you my love." I soon grew tired and fell asleep wrapped up in his arms. I wish I could've met him sooner.
"Goodnight Rinae, I promise I will take care of you." He whispered it so quietly, I almost didn't catch it. Maybe he didn't want me to hear it, most likely. It's still good to know that someone cares about you so much they let you fall asleep on you after balling their eyes out.
