The bells are ringing, the snow is falling, it's Christmas eve! The world was back to normal, slowly calming the monsters. Kori was sitting by the window watching the snow fall, she missed Ruby, her innocent smile and how sweet she is, Kiyoshi comes back home with a wide smile "I'm back, and I bought decorations for the tree!" She smiles softly at him, a fake one. Kiyoshi pouts "what? Are the decorations ugly?" Kori shakes her head "no they're not, I just miss Ruby" he sighs and goes to hug her "love, you can't keep missing her forever" she looks back at the window "I can't help it"

[Flashback] Ruby's POV

I ran to my father, he was shocked looking at me, my skin was warm and normal again, I was me again. It was the first time I saw my dad crying, and it was a happy cry, I wasn't used to show him affection but now I felt like he's all I have now. I turn back and wave at Kori, she was my second mother, I didn't want to say goodbye, but that's life, it has to keep going.

Kiyoshi pulls her to his chest "baby" he whispered while nuzzling his face in her hair, she laughed loud "hey hey stop, I will decorate with you" she bring the decorations and places them on the tree, he sat down on the couch and watched her decorate with loving eyes, he wished this moment would last forever. He spoke up "love, do you believe in fate? That all of this was planned and meant to be?" She looked at him "like that out of the blue" she giggled "hmm at some point I do" he patted his thigh, and she sat on it and rested her head on his chest, his hand goes through her hair "well I believe that you are my fate"
