We've been driving for about an hour, I think. The trees have stretched out far, like they're following us. I watch them pass, flashes of green instead of flashes of red.
All of a sudden, the RV honks once. We need to stop.
"Stay here." Daddy kinda grumbles out before getting out of the truck.
I can see that Dale's RV is smokin' at the front. I think maybe it's the parts that he needed from the box van before Uncle Merle stole it (that's how he got away after cuttin' his hand off).
Then Jacqui gets outta the RV with a sad look on her face. I can't hear anyone from here, so I swing open the door. So goes back into the RV and Shane 'n' T-Dog drive off ahead. I don't think I've ever been more confused in my lifetime.
Rick then goes into the RV after Jacqui. I think maybe Jim's doin' badly because I can hear a groaning from inside the RV, and I don't think that it's Rick.
I stand up on my right leg - my good leg - and hold onto the door for support whilst I look over and watch everyone. My bad leg is startin' to hurt again. I think that maybe the painkillers wore off. I don't want to say anything, though, they all look like they're doin' somethin' important. And also I don't think anybody else but me and Daddy know about Uncle Merle's secret stash of medicine.
Jim is tied to a tree. Daddy says he's gotten worse because of the bite on his stomach. Rick offered him a gun, but he didn't take it. I'm not really sure if I should add him to my list because he's technically not dead. We are leaving him for dead, though.
I decided to make a list in my head to help me remember everyone who has died. I want somebody to remember them, and think about them, because it would suck if you died a real bad way and nobody even remembered you.
Ed Peletier – killed by a Walker, Shane shot him. Amy Harrison – killed by a Walker (same Walker??) and Andrea shot her. Thirteen other Camp members who I don't think I've ever spoken to – all killed by Walkers and shot by different people. Allison Penny – killed by a Walker, and I stabbed her. Jim (I'm not sure what his last name is) – he was bitten and not dead, but we left him tied to a tree.
