𝗽𝗿𝗲-𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: first glimpse of carl and viv!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not sure how, but everybody knows.

They all know that I'm a freak who gets so overwhelmed that I can't speak. And I hate it.

Lori gives me looks of pity, so does Dale and Glenn and Rick. They should all be worried about the dead bodies we buried not even an hour ago. They should be sad that we've lost people, angry that we couldn't protect them, worried that it could happen again. Instead, they smile at me with big, sad eyes and squeeze my shoulder as they pass.

I hate it so, so, so, much.

Anyway, I'm sat outside of our tent on my crate with my colouring book open on my knees and my new pack of marked next to my legs on the spare section of crate. Daddy gave me a pill earlier from Uncle Merle's stash, and I feel a little bit dizzy, but my leg stopped hurting though.

I finish colouring in the blue section - usin' the blueberry scented marker - before I cap the marker and slip it into the box. Daddy's sat on the crate to my right sharpening sticks. He says he needs more arrows 'cause he lost some of 'em when he went to Atlanta.

Turns out, when they went to go and get Merle back, they found out that he was gone. He had cut off his own hand! How crazy is that! They followed his trail of bloody drops to a bunch of different places, but they couldn't find him, so then they were gonna leave, but then Glenn got kidnapped with a bunch'a doggies!

Shane, Rick and Dale come back from lookin' around the wood for Walkers, so we all make out way to the middle of the camp. I'm leanin' against Daddy with my hand wrapped around Celeste.

"I've been, uh... I've been thinking about Rick's plan. Now look, there are no... There are no guarantees either way. I'll be the first one to admit that. I've known this man a long time. I trust his instincts. I say the most important thing here is we need to stay together. So those of you that agree, we leave first thing in the morning." Shane says, and he looks around the group. "Okay?"
