AOIFE was getting ready for her first day on the job, she'd be interviewing formula one drivers all day. she was excited, to say the least. she always wanted a job in motor sports and she finally achieved her dreams.

"my suitcase is a mess." aoife groaned, digging through her clothes as she tried to find something to wear. "i should've planned my outfit before."

the irish girl sighed, picking out a black colored jumpsuit that was strapless and paired it with beige colored wedges.

"this will do." aoife said, getting dressed and accessorizing with some rings, bracelets, necklaces, and earrings.

she finished getting ready, before grabbing her work pass and leaving the hotel. sure, she was nervous but the excitement overpowered the nerves she felt.

"aoife!" charles called out, walking up behind the girl.

"charles, hi." the girl replied, turning to face him. "testing weekend, are you excited? nervous?" "excited, sure. nervous, i hope the car isn't shit." charles replied, stopping in front of aoife.

"best of luck, yeah?" aoife chuckled, patting his back. "i think i have an interview with you and carlos today." "really? what're we doing?" charles asked, tilting his head at her.

"can't tell ya." she said, as she adjusted her necklaces. "do i look overdressed?"

"nah, you look great. i'm sure some of the fans are more overdressed than you." charles chuckled, as he looked at her outfit. "its a cute outfit."

"okay, cool. i'll see you later for our interview." aoife smiled, nudging him with her elbow before walking off. "bye, aoife!" charles called out, watching her walk off.

aoife stood in the paddock, microphone in hand, as the sun dipped low over the circuit, casting a golden hue over the bustling F1 garage. she was about to interview ferrari's dynamic duo—charles leclerc and carlos sainz—both fresh from a day of practice sessions. dressed in the iconic red team gear, the two drivers approached with easy smiles, their camaraderie evident even before a word was spoken.

"charles, carlos, thanks for joining me." aoife began, her warm irish lilt instantly putting the drivers at ease. "you both had quite an eventful day on track. let's start with you, charles—how's the car feeling?"

charles, his usual thoughtful expression in place, nodded. "the cars feeling pretty good, actually. we've made some improvements since last season, especially with the balance. i'm quite happy with the setup we've found so far. there's always room for more, but we're in a good place."

aoife turned her attention to carlos, who was standing beside charles with a relaxed grin. "carlos, you seemed to be pushing the car quite hard out there. what's your take on today's sessions?"

carlos chuckled, a hint of mischief in his eyes. "yeah, i was having a bit of fun, maybe testing the limits a little. the car is definitely showing potential, but like charles said, there's always more we can squeeze out of it. we're working well as a team to get the best out of this weekend."

aoife smiled, sensing the friendly rivalry between the two. "it's great to see you both pushing each other. speaking of which, you're known for having a strong relationship off the track. how does that translate when you're competing against each other on race day?"

charles answered first, glancing at carlos with a playful smirk. "i think it helps a lot. we push each other to be better, but there's also a lot of respect. we both want to win, of course, but we know that the team comes first. it's all about finding that balance."

carlos nodded in agreement, adding, "exactly. we're teammates before anything else. we share a lot of information, and that only makes us stronger as a team. but once the visor goes down, it's every man for himself—though always with respect."

"and when the days done, who's most likely to buy the other a drink after a tough race?" aoife leaned in, her eyes sparkling as she drew them into the conversation.

both drivers laughed, exchanging a glance. "depends on who's had the better day!" carlos joked, nudging charles lightly with his elbow.

charles grinned, nodding his head. "yeah, but honestly, it's usually me." he said, with a wink. "i owe carlos a few after some of the recent races."

aoife laughed along with them, her genuine enjoyment of the exchange clear. "well, it's good to know there's no shortage of camaraderie in the ferrari garage. thanks so much for your time, charles, carlos. best of luck this weekend—we'll be rooting for the both of you."

as the interview wrapped up, charles and carlos thanked aoife and headed back towards their team, the easy banter continuing as they walked away. aoife watched them go, a satisfied smile on her face—another engaging interview in the books, capturing the essence of the driver's behind the helmets.

aoife walked into her hotel room after a long day of working, exhausted and ready to go to sleep. she had a good work day, her interviews went well. she had a fun time interviewing the ferrari drivers, the duo brought good energy to the paddock and she loved it.

the girl walked into the bathroom, turning the shower off and taking her jewelry off. the girl undressed, getting into the warm water and washing off the exhaustion and sweat from spending the day in the bahrain sun.

aoife finished her shower, getting into comfortable clothes and then getting into bed as she ordered food for the night.

she spent the night eating her dinner and watching something on her laptop, before throwing her trash away and turning the lights off.

the girl got comfortable in her bed, yawns escaping her mouth as she drifted off to sleep, thinking about the day to come.

aoife had multiple interviews planned for tomorrow, interviewing different drivers from other teams. she was super excited, she loved doing her job.
