The Vampire Queen's Soulmate

Chapter 2

As the guards helped Kiyomi, out of the carriage first by taking her hand, and Kiyomi herself having her other hand to hold her dress up so she wouldn't step on it and trip in the process. Kiyomi would turn to Felicity standing up to get out of the carriage. Kiyomi stepped in front of the guard so she could guide Felicity again.

As Felicity stepped out, she took a look at the enormous castle a bit higher in front of her. Which show Immense amount of details to showcase the vampire royal bloodline their wealth. And that only from a distance gaze alone as the closer they get. The more details came to view with every step Felicity took towards the gigantic castle.

She noticed all the towers with those pointy roofs little peaks, and arches and so much more. The front of the castle had a large staircase and infront a statue of a woman who was standing up, holding a very detailed crown right over her head, like she is about to put it on her head.

Felicity stopped in her tracks to admire, and observe the statue. The statue has a similar hairstyle to her own and the crown had chains under it as have some crystals on the tops of the crown.

Kiyomi noticed Felicity looking at the statue with great interest. She would stand next to her to gaze at the statue with her.
after a minute or 2, Kiyomi broke the silence
"Yume, first official queen of the vampires" she said, as she looked a bit more serious. "She began with documenting our history, and this castle was her home, a very long time ago, back then this castle was of course, much smaller"

Kiyomi offered her own hand to hold "The castle has grown a lot so i wouldn't want you to get lost" She said Felicity took her hand a bit hesitant at first but when she held her hand it felt nice.

Kiyomi's hand was cool to the touch, but it felt quite nice to hold with her soft hand. As they entered the castle, Kiyomi would first take her to wards the throne room, they passed trough a hallway with portraits of the vampire queens. As they passed by each one of the portraits.

First portrait was the woman from the statue. Who was now wearing the crown from the statue aswell. She has black hair like all the other queen's. on the portrait
She is standing in the the throne room that looks like it is not very detailed yet. she was wearing a long detailed red dress. and with her hands in front of her like she is holding something, but she isn't holding anything.

Next portrait was Kiyomi's grandmother she was in a sitting position on the throne, that was now much more detailed. She was wearing a black dress with red details, and the same crown from the last portrait. This portrait looks a bit more intimidating but not as much as the next portrait.

Which was of course Kiyomi's mother. she was really portrayed as a leader with an iron fist. unlike the other portraits her eyes were red. Which probably was a choice of Kiyomi's mother herself to really portray her vampire self and her power. She was wearing an all black dress with only a few hints of silver. She was wearing the crown of course and she was standing right infront of the throne that was now again more detailed and the details really went up further then the painting could show, details that were very dark.

The portrait already gave chills to Felicity, a shiver going trough her body, Kiyomi looked over at Felicity.

Felicity now looked over to Kiyomi's portrait. She was wearing a dark red dress with some black details, and of course that same crown. Kiyomi was portrayed very similar to the first portrait, but also standing in front of the throne, the throne had changed a bit, it was was still very detailed. But the details have changed, instead, of very dark details, there were roses like details which was more pleasant to look at.

Kiyomi does look serious in the portrait but, she seems to be portrayed more gentle. atleast more gentle then her mother, which was exactly Kiyomi's wish for her portrait when it was made.

When Felicity finished gazing at the portraits, she noticed Kiyomi was waiting for her. She quickly walked towards her with a quick apology. Kiyomi chuckled "No need to apologize my dear, you are simply curious and i can't blame you for that" she said as she took her hand in her hand again.

Kiyomi looked over at her portrait then back at Felicity "After we bonded more, it is a tradition to have a portrait together to hang somewhere where we spend a lot of time together." she said to her, as they were walking.

When they arrived at their first destination in the castle, the throne hallway Felicity's eyes wouldn't know where to look first. the looks first up at the high ceiling with paintings on it, then at pillars that have rose vine like details. And finally at the throne that was so carved that it looked like the rose vines all came from the throne, carved from stone.

Kiyomi smiles at her "I would like to give you a tour tomorrow, are you hungry? would you like anything to eat, before i guide you to our chambers?" She asked her.

Felicity thought for a bit before nodding, "I would like that" she said as she looked up, to Kiyomi. Kiyomi would nod and take her to the royal kitchen.

As they entered the kitchen, the people there that were mostly vampires they curtsied to Kiyomi as they noticed her presence. Kiyomi nodded to them then turned back to Felicity "Anything specific you would like?"

Felicity wasn't sure what she would like because she wasn't sure what they could and normally make for dishes. not to mention if they normally make human food.

"Anything is fine...im not sure what they usually make" She said as she looks at the chefs and staff, The chefs thought for a bit before they started to cook something for her.

When Felicity finished eating, Kiyomi had a separate bed setup in her own bedroom, she thought that maybe Felicity wouldn't of course be comfortable to sleep in the same bed as her yet.

Felicity would look at the very comfortable looking bed, she then realised she doesn't have any clothes as they would get her belongings the next day, or the day after that.

Kiyomi seemed to notice and would walk over to her large walk in closet. She picked out a sleeping garment that would be a bit too big for her. Because of Kiyomi being taller, She handed it to her.

"If you wish to have more privacy the bathroom is over there" she placed a hand on her shoulder and pointed to the bathroom door which is connected to the large bedroom.

Felicity nodded and said a soft thank you, before going into the bathroom to change into the nightgown. it was a dark style nightgown, it wasn't very exposing because Kiyomi made sure to pick a modest one.

As Felicity put on the night gown she would fold her everyday dress neatly, when she was finished Kiyomi was still wearing her clothes as she was going to go to the library. but she wanted to make sure Felicity is comfortable.

Kiyomi would smile at her, Felicity would get in the bed that was intended for her. it was really comfortable so she kind of melted into the matress. Kiyomi looked at her "Goodnight, tomorrow we are going yo get your belongings dear" she said "May i kiss your forehead?" she asked her.

Felicity nodded "Yes you may" Kiyomi placed a gentle kiss on her forehead. And with that Felicity fell asleep soon.
