Author's pov
The whole cafeteria was quiet. Jalal and Amir were still holding Fahtimah's hand glaring at each other. Fatimah was trying to pull her hand away from their grip but non of them were letting go."I said let go" Amir said again.
Jalal had no intention of letting go. Amir punched him on the face unexpectedly. Jalal staggered back a bit due to the impact. He touched his lips and saw blood. Fatimah was frightened the students in the cafeteria gasped. Jalal let go of her hand ready to punch back but Fatimah stood between them trying to stop them. Fatimah could feel the anger radiating off him. She felt intimidated but she didn't move.
Jalal tried to punch back but Zain held him. Jalal tried to free him self from zain grip but Zain didn't let go. Fatimah couldn't take it anymore."Jalal please don't fight please just let him be........ please" she begged him.
Jalal sigh and walked away. He could see that she was intimidated . He never did get along with Amir. He went to the garden. He sat down on one of the benches he loved the garden it always calmed him.
Fatimah's POV
After Jalal left, the place was quiet. I looked at Amir one last time. He looked like he regretted what he just did. I didn't say anything to him i just left the place. I entered the classroom Jalal wasn't there I wonder where he is I sat down thinking of what happened an idea suddenly popped up. She opened her bag and picked a bandage. She always had them in case of emergency. She was about to leave the class when the rude girl from earlier suddenly blocked her way with two of her friends.
"Stay away from Jalal" she said.
"I didn't go close to him" I said trying to defend myself.
"Shut up!!!" She said raising her voice.
"Stay away from him and if you don't your gonna face my wrath" she said and walked pass me pushing me out of her way.
I left the class ignoring what she just said. Now were am i going to find Jalal I thought. I saw a double door I walked towards it. I pushed the door open and it turned out to be the school backyard. I saw a garden at the left side of the yard I walk towards the garden and entered it. It's beautiful I thought admiring the view. I saw Jalal seated on one of the benches so I walked up to him and sat down beside him. He just looked at me and didn't say anything.
"Hi" I said timidly.
But he didn't reply he just looked at me. So I took it as a go ahead to say what I wanted to.
"Am sorry for what happened earlier. Take this" I said handing him the bandage but he did say anything or make an attempt to collect it.
"Use it on your wound" I said keeping it on the chair and left.
I came back to the class and saw everyone in the class break was over everyone's attention turned to me but I decided to ignore them. I sat down on my seat, not long after Amir entered the class and sat down non of us said anything to each other the silence was uncomfortable but nobody attempted to break it. The teacher finally entered the class and the class settled down. The teacher had already started teaching I Jalal was still not in class I hope his okay I thought. He finally entered the class he used the bandage I gave him on his injury that made me happy. He looked at me and I smiled a little and then he head to his seat.
School was over I was parking my books.
"Hey" Amir said for the first after the incident that happened at the cafeteria. I looked at him but didn't say anything.
"Am sorry for what happened earlier I didn't mean too" he said
I closed my eyes a bit and opened it.
"It's nothing but you need to apologize to Jalal" I said.
He nodded and smiled.
"Bye" he said waving and left.
"Hey baby girl you are on fire" she said.
"What did I do" I asked.
"Everyone in school is talking about you" she said
"Why" I asked confused.
"Jalal and Amir fought over you and there are the most popular and handsome guys in school. I think they love you" she said squealing.
"No they don't I don't think so" I denied.
"Wait and see" she said confidently.
"But be careful. Amal is watching you and has eyes everywhere" she added.
"You mean that rude girl. She told me to stay away from Jalal" I said.
"She is Jalal's cousin and she loves him. She's very dangerous. So stay away from her" Aliyah warned.
I sigh "ok.....bye" I said and left.
I went outside and saw Dad and Ali waiting for me in the car. I entered the car and Dad started driving. The drive home home was quiet. We finally arrived. I was about to enter the house when Ali called me. I turned to look at him.
"What do you want" I said looking up at me.
"I see you already gained popularity in school" he said smirking.
I ignored him and entered the house.
"As'salamualikum mom am home" I shouted.
"Wa'alikumusalam how was school darling" mom said.
"Mom do you know what happened in school mom" my brother said before I could even reply mom. He smirked and looked at me I gave him the you wouldn't dare look but he ignored it.
"Two boys fought ove....." I didn't let him finish cause I closed his mouth and glared at him.
Mom looked at me.
"Mom it's nothing you know how Ali is his just making up stories" I said laughing nervously.
"Any ways your food is in the kitchen" she said.
I entered the kitchen and opened the food warmer. It was Shish Taouk (grilled chicken skewers) and rice yummy. I fetched it and sat on the kitchen counter and started eating it I was so hungry when I was done I went to my room and freshen up, I wore a dress and laid down on the bed what happened in school started replayed in my mind. I sigh and closed my eyes I had a long day.
