Insomnia: An Unexpected Pair

Stampy's POV

"Thanks mate," I mumbled. Squid didn't mean anything but trying to get me to understand. The problem is, I did understand, and I didn't want to. Squid didn't deserve ignorance and rudeness back though. He had just as bad as a trip of life.
Squid didn't lead the best life as a child without a father, and with a abusive mother. It also didn't help that his older brother had apolecia and lost all his hair. He dealt with lots of bullies and finally met a match for him. He found a girl named Autumn, and she was perfect for him. She didn't mind his video games and wanted to go to college with him. Squid fell hard for Autumn and her long blonde hair. When Squid almost turned 16 to go to college, she started getting more and more bossy. She started trying to get Squid to stop YouTube and gaming, and Squid refused. With his answer, she wasn't satisfied, and broke up with him. Squid lost a part of him that night, a part of his dignity and his heart. He never loved a girl since and refused to see any of his friends with any girl.
"Squid... We need to talk, now before our fans see us and get upset that we're not friends." I said, looking around stiffly.
"I'll meet you there then," Sqaishey told us, catching on.
"I'm sorry mate, I didn't mean it last night."
"Squid, I'm angry but not enough to keep ignoring you. I understand why you did it, and I don't really blame you for it."
We walked in silence for a little bit.
"I drank a little last night and I wasn't in the right set of mind. You don't deserve the disrespect I showed last night... Me not trusting women much has nothing to do with you, and if you say she's good for you then I'll be happy with that."
"She reminds you of her doesn't she?" I asked trying not to push on nerves.
"Her face is almost identical... That's why I was so uneasy about her."
"Mate, I'm sorry." I hugged him.
"She better be good to you, she seems worth it..."
"I don't even know if she likes me though." I started seeing blurs and I noticed I was tearing up.
"Mate, she's looking at you like your a fish and she's the cat, and you look at her like she just came from Mars." Squid playfully shoved me and grinned.

Sqaishey's POV

I didn't get what was taking them so long, I sat on a bench to have them in view and sipped on my tea. When I saw Squid shove Stampy and grin I knew all was well with the best friends.
I ran over to them, tea in hand and smiled, "All is well?"
"All is well." Stampy replied, grinning slightly as he looked at me.
"Ready to go? Or are we gonna be even more late?"
"No, I lied, we're a hour early." Stampy's grin grew more and he started laughing devilishly.
"Your evil. Can we get breakfast now that we're a hour early and a hour more sleep deprived?" I asked, smiling myself.
"Yes! Breakfast!" Squid cheered.
Stampy just nodded his head and pointed to a small cafe on the block we were walking down. "Did my homework of finding a food place."
As we arrived at the restaurant we ordered a bunch of pancakes and tea. As the food arrived we dug in and stuffed ourselves full.
"So... Much... Food..." Squid complained holding his stomach.
I nodded and drank the rest of my tea. "So what's the plan today Stamps?"
"Okay... There's gonna be a opening ceremony, we can sit and watch it. Then me and Squid compete in a hunger games, then we have fan signings, meetings, then we get to enjoy our time."
"Sounds fun." I replied, bouncing in my seat.
"Signing is the worst... Hands start to hurt." Squid started rubbing his hands, as if he already felt the pain of signing endlessly.
"Is any other people you play Minecraft with gonna be there?"
"Lee, Netty, and Amy will be there."
I grinned, "this is gonna be the best day ever!'

I tried to turn aspects to Squid for a little more sympathy to Squid as Sqaishey and Stampy get closer...

Will they be together by the end of Insomnia? Or will they go home and think it over?
