Yutou

Yutou looked down at his glowing whip and then at Ace and Avan," Is it that big of a deal? Cosmic wizards are common aren't they?"

" It's not. ," cried Avan," It's one of the rarest magic forms in twisted wonderland that takes years to use so easily."

" Is it now?" Yutou sneered. " I mean I am special exception to this given my magnificence and charm. Time to try out my power."

He then viciously spun his glowing whip destroying webs in the room and a portion of the wall with a force that made him shocked. Yutou chuckled awkwardly seeing the looks of shock on his companions faces.

" What powerful force," squeaked Avan finally.

" Agreed," sighed Ace before scowling at Yutou," Did you seriously have to unleash it over here, man? This whole place is dilapidated. Doing stuff like that here only increases the chances of making the whole structure collapse."

Yutou sighed knowing that he had overdid it before changing the topic as his eyes fell on the area of the wall that had collapsed under his assualt. " Wherever my chain shall tread a path shall appear. Maybe it's a sign from the ginga, we must explore it."

He slid out through the crack before Ace could stop him.

Avan

"You know," said Avan as the two groups began to walk out of the house, "this place kinda matches the description of the home of the seven dwarves who sheltered the maiden from the virtuous seven, better revered as the fairest one of all."

"Maybe the miners used that to attract children and force them to work," offered Ace as he pushed the cart. Apparently the path Yutou had accidentally opened led to the backyard where they had found a cart loaded with rusty pickaxes.

Avan was expecting some logical quip from Yukio. But surprisingly he maintained the same dark expression ever since he had found out about Yutou's ability to use cosmic magic at will. He seemed busy fiddling with his staff trying to charge it with magic but failing. Avan got a weird foreboding from it...was it envy?

Deuce tapped his foot impatiently. "Ah, there you

"Okay," said Grim, taking charge. "We've got what we need. Let's head to the mine entrance before I get hungry."

They exited the cottage, pushing the cart towards the looming mine entrance. The stars overhead twinkled in the night sky, their light barely penetrating the thick canopy of trees surrounding the area. The air was cool and filled with the sounds of nocturnal creatures stirring in the forest.

As they approached the mine, the atmosphere grew heavier. The dark, gaping maw of the entrance on the hill side seemed to swallow the light from their phone flashlights, and the old rail tracks leading into the depths of the earth looked like a path to another world.

Avan took a deep breath, trying to steady his nerves. "Alright, everyone ready?"

"Ready as we'll ever be," muttered Yukio, finally speaking up.

"Stay close and keep your eyes peeled bois," warned Yutou "We don't know what's down there."

" We have a cosmic wizard to help us in case of emergencies along with yours truly," cried Grim despite peeking behind Avan's leg.

With that, they entered the mine, their footsteps echoing in the narrow tunnel. The walls were lined with ancient supports, and the air was thick with the smell of earth and decay.

They walked in silence, the only sounds being their breathing and the occasional drip of water from the ceiling. The mine seemed to stretch on forever, the darkness pressing in on them from all sides.

Finally, they emerged into another cavern, and the sight took Avan's breath away. The interior glittered brightly with magestones of various colors, their light reflecting off the walls and casting a rainbow of hues throughout the chamber.
