Chapter 8 - Platonic?
Applejacks pov:

I woke up to the sweet smell of Apple Pie and I heard my alarm. The cool air came through my window and I stretched my arms. It was Friday and I had no school, I didn't have to do chores since Granny Smith wanted me to have a fun day and a good time with my girls at Pinkie Pies sleepover.
I hopped out of my bed and did my usual get ready. Daily hygiene and all. I changed my clothes and started to pack my things. I would stay at Pinkies for more than a day and overnight. I would be staying at her house for the night and for the party! If things went crazy I might have to sleep at her house for a second day. I didn't want that to happen but I packed extra clothes just in case. You can't ever be to careful. After packing I walked downstairs to greet my family.

There was Applebloom, Big Mac, and Granny Smith. They were just getting ready to serve breakfast. Every girl was getting to Pinkies house at about 1:00 pm so I had a lot of time before I would leave. I had my hair tied up and my usual hat on. I greeted my family.

"What yall cooking for breakfast? Sorry I couldn't help this time round." I said to my family as I hugged Applebloom and nodded to Big Mac and Granny Smith. "Pancakes and Apple Pie. Good morning Applejack." My brother said.

"Good morning to yall to!" I replied as I sat down and got myself a plate. Applebloom sat next to me and smiled big. "What's goin on for you little sis?" I asked her.

"Well I'm going to hang out with Sweetie bell and Scootalo later. I always miss my friends, wait I mean BEST friends!" My sister replied. I smiled at her cause I knew how she felt. Granny Smith and Big Mac then gave me and Applebloom the breakfast and we put it on the plates. My Granny sat down and so did my brother.

"So ya still goin to that Pink girls house later?" Granny Smith asked. "Sure thang! Excited ta see my girls!" I responded after taking a bite of my Apple Pie.

"Your even excited to see Rainbow Dash? After what happened?" Big Mac asked. He looked at me from across the table and my smile turned upside down. I wasn't frowning but I sure wasn't smiling.

"Ya it was nothing, I just got home that night late and she did nothing wrong." I said.

"You sure about that?" My brother asked.

"I'm sure, I can go to this sleepover and the party. Rainbow did nothing wrong, all she did was ask me a question. Me and her are good and if we aren't we will be good after today!" I replied while gaining back my positivity. My older brother looked at me suspicious until he finally just said "Ee Yup." I guess it wasn't all that serious.

After breakfast with my family I headed upstairs. I felt bad not helping out with chores but my brother and Granny insisted I rested before the sleepover. I decided to just lay in my bed since I already packed everything I needed. For a while I wasn't trying to check social media and such as I believe it's a waste of time, but today I guess it was fine for a change. I opened up Instagram to see a note from Rainbow Dash, it said "That's weird but wtv". I wondered why she would put that.

Then I remembered Pinkie asked if she could post a story yesterday. I checked her story to see if it was still up. She tagged my private account that only Pinkie and Rarity are aloud to follow. They aren't really "aloud" it's just, they are people I've known for longer and I trust them following that account. On that account I post baby photos of myself. I also like to post some of my diary entries. I would post inside jokes only me and Rainbow knew. So nobody else would get them, but if Rainbow knew I posted those inside jokes I don't know how she would feel.

One of my diary entry posts said "I like some one who isn't afraid of there own shadow, but is afraid of losing there own pet." This was an inside joke between me and Rainbow. She thought it was funny Fluttershy was afraid of her own shadow while Rainbow was not. Rainbow was also terrified of losing her pet turtle "Tank" and I was the only one who knew. I remember Rarity swiped up on my story and she asked me who the diary entry was about. I lied and said it was about Trenderhoof, but I told her I lost feelings. I just wanted to get things off of my chest.
