Kim: Honey, wake up you have to get ready for school.
Laine: Mom, I don't feel like going to school today.
Kim: Laine, you have to, it's senior year, it's only been the second week of school.
Laine: Mom, can't I just be home schooled? I hate going to this stupid public school.
Kim: Laine, you'll do great, c'mon, get up and get ready. I have to get ready for work too. *leaves the room*
Laine: *pulls the sheets over her*
Kim: *getting ready*
Laine: *gets on her phone*
Kim: Laine! *walks back upstairs* Laine.
Laine: *looks at kim* What?
Kim: Are you seriously not going to school today?
Laine: Do I have to?
Kim: Yes, c'mon, I'll take you to school, get up.
Laine: Fine. *gets up and gets ready*
Kim: You have the keys to the house right?
Laine: Yes mom, I do.
Kim: Ok, I'll see you later when I get home then.
Laine: Yes mom. *walks onto campus*
Kim: *drives off while on the phone*
Renee: *laughs*

Renee: What happened? Mommy can't pick you up today. *laughs*

Renee: *makes faces at laine and laughs harder*

Jessica: Are you feeling ok?
Kim: I don't know Jess, if I don't feel better later, I'm gonna head home early.
Jessica: You know I have some medication at home, I can bring it for you later?
Kim: *smiles* Thank you Jess, you're such a great co-worker.
Jessica: No problem Kim. Well I'm gonna head back to my station, so I'll see you in a bit.
Kim: Ok, thanks again Jessica.
Jessica: *smiles and walks off and rolls her eyes*
Laine: *returns home from school and listens to the voicemail*
Lance: Hey, it's me Lance, I'll be home tomorrow night, so see you all then. Bye.
Laine: *hangs up the phone and heads to her room*
Kim: You guys, I'm not feeling too well, I'm gonna head home early tonight.
Jessica: Oh here's the medication.
Kim: *smiles* Aw, thanks Jess, you really didn't have to.
Jessica: Well I did, so take it. *shoves it to kim*
Kim: *looks at Jessica with an angry look*
Jessica: *fakes a smile* Take it.
Kim: I will. *leaves the office*
Laine: Oh you're home.
