A violet hew filled the cavernous civilization. A subtle feeling of eminence and gander radiated throughout. Sensations of all of life expressed in a small confined area. So many different aspects of life could be gleaned in the small hovels that lined the highways of violet runes.

Idle chatter could be heard from all places in the cavern. Conversations on the aspects of life and death; the ideas of existence. Chats about what is confined and unaffected by space-time.

Concepts beyond general comprehension filled the causal chats of the people whom lived peacefully within the cavern and its seemingly endless expanse.

Peace, a concept loved and cherished by these people.

Every aspect of their research and delving into the unfathomable was solely for the purpose of convenience and peace. Despite this they didn't deal with conflict often from people who coveted their knowledge and envied their potential.

This peaceful life embraced by the grace of violet; the blessings of aether filled their lives. Each day came with unfathomable revelations about the nature of reality and the world.

Each day to these people is seen as a blessing and another day to connect with reality once more. Today the cavern was oddly frantic, it's a momentous day. These people will be welcoming into the world and the embrace of violet eminence the next lord.

It was predestined centuries prior that the lord be would appear on a day where the grace of violet; the radiance of aether would glow in a golden light in the center of the cavern. The runes and markings lining the skin of these people muddled be natural occurring aether creating an orb of pure unfiltered raw aether.

A feeling of comfort washed over the people as they gathered in the town center; the feeling was like that of a warm embrace of a loving parent. In the center of town a woman laid in labor. The people were starstruck. They had long foregone the idea of natural reproduction and simply created their children and young from aether with vessels long since crafted to perfection. It wasn't fully abandoned but most opted to create children as opposed to birthing them.

The woman didn't cry as a violet aura covered her body soothing any pains and aches she may have experienced. Not a soul nor herself had beseeched the aether to soothe her. Something or someone else was. The people immediately began theorizing and two ideas were debated, accepted as the only answers.

Either the would be lord was so bonded and graced by the violet embrace that they were already in the process of communing with aether. The other idea was that the aether itself, clearly conscious so as the people agreed, was doing this of its own volition to assist the mother in birthing the soon to be lord.

None knew or could see anything about the lord they were to welcome. Gender, dispotions, personality, the actions they'd take– nothing, they knew nothing but one simple fact. They knew one thing about their lord, they would usher in a new era and express a regal eminence unlike no other.

Though even as they waited eagerly a single doubt and worry filled their hearts. The mother. She was one of a rare disposition; she didn't fully embrace the idea of 'Peace via Abstinence' as she put it. Would the mother's disposition affect the decisions and thoughts of the lord or would the lord embrace the ideals of the rest of the people. None contemplated the third possibility.

The possibility of the lord already having a will of his own. One that wouldn't be altered so easily by the piteous ideas and desires these people expressed.
