Chapter 12- Mixed Up Emotions

-Mattheos Pov- (swearing)

"But....i love you" she says pushing the door open and run out, i put my arm out to catch her wrist as she slips out of my reach i brush against her arm, FUCK i scream in my head, i did this all, i made her feel like shit and it's all my fault.

I bang the wall of the wardrobe as i turn back to Lily who just turned a corner, i walk out of the wardrobe kicking the door closed. I really fucked this all up now didn't i...

I walk into the library and walk to our seat, Lily was opposite to me head down reading a book, the teacher comes around and give us our herbology questions and once she was out of side Lily stood up grabbed her stuff and walked to the opposite side of the study room we have at the back of the library, i just sat there and i opened my mouth but no sound came out, i quickly close it and i watch her...she closes the book pushing it to the side and starts on the questions, i shake it off and start working on my questions, once the lesson was done she was out the library first and i quickly run out and i stand outside the library to see her turn the corner, i kick a rock on the ground cursing under my breath, oh why the fuck did i do this, to myself and to her...i should of just acted like the stone cold dick i am and stay away from her...i can still push her away i just need to be a dick...this will hurt her more but it will protect her for all i care right now.

In the morning lessons she sits then leaves once the teacher has gone but otherwise she walks in and sits away from me, even her sitting in the morning with me opposite table is making her upset...my plan is somewhat working but everytime she sees me across the hall she turns and walks the other way, i have been a dick to her and the friend group haven't commented Leo still hates me after finding out and Abby knows something is up but Nick, somehow he knows exactly what i'm doing and why and doesn't favour me for my messed up ways of dealing with this but i know he still is hoping for us...

"Hope is for suckers Riddle" her voice echos around my head, i remember that like it was yesterday, i didn't mean to hurt her i just was wondering, maybe hope sucks but i want her, i still need her...she is all i have left...

As the weeks went by we only have History Of Magic (HOM) and Muggle Studies, i know all of them so study is useless, Lily has already caught up her week of disappearance and i feel out of place in the group, i always have but they all know something is wrong but Lily can't decide who i sit with because we broke up...again

"Hey Guys" Lily says sitting down, she was getting better and it was quite obvious, the whole group knows when each other are faking a happy mood or not but Lily is impossibly hard to read everyone barely knows but we all just know she is happy, it was after Breakfast on a Friday, all library lessons cancelled for the quidditch tournament today but you still can study if you want, all of the boys and i are getting ready to play...i love quidditch it is easy to get your mind off everything really any sport does but i love the wind in my hair and the factor of flying, we also get extra flying than the normal student it's perfect.

"Well well well, isn't it the little sad girl" i say laughing

"Shut it Riddle" she rolls her eyes standing up

"Why should i listen to you" i say standing up walking close to her my breath on her face as her breath hitches i smirk, i still have an effect on her

"Because your little words mean nothing to me" she says pushing me back a bit

"I would hate to stay but i have a quidditch torment to win and not a little girl to deal with" i say pushing past her

"I hope you fall off and die" she says
