Chapter 18

"Alex." I whispered.

"Where do you think you're going young lady?"

Ugh! I was so close leaving the school without getting hurt physically and verbally.

"Just leave me alone Alex." I carried on walking.

"Nah nah." He pulled my shirt and turned me around.

He literally towered over me with his lanky ass self. He was brown skinned with the straightest white teeth and peircing in his left ear.

His hair was cut low but it suits him. I'm not gonna lie he's good looking but his damn personality stank.

"What do you want?" I spat at him.

"Come on now, don't get rude, I wouldn't want to disorder that pretty face of yours." He came up to my face.

"Just let me go before I tell my dad."

My dad will kill him. He'd do anything for me.

"Aww little princess is gonna run home to her daddy huh?" He just chuckled. He don't know shit.

"Leave me the fuck alone!" I pushed him and took off running.

He chased after me out of school. Just as I was nearly home he caught up to me and pushed me up to the wall. His boys came to view and stood beside me so I don't run away. He looked so angry.

"You didn't have to do that." He whispered to me.

"Fuck you." I literally spat at him.

He dramatically wiped the spit off his face and glared at me. His eyes went dark and his pushed me straight onto the floor.

He climb on top of me and started punching me up. I tried to punch him back but I wasn't strong enough.

"No one spits at Alex." He spat at me as I laid out broken on the floor.

And thats how I became blind.

He looks pretty much the same as well. Just more facial features.

"Let me explain please." He pleaded taking another step towards me.

"Explain what Alex?!" I exclaimed.

"Everything. I'm sorry for what I did to you all those years back. Honestly, I was out of my head-"

"Fuck your excuses! You almost killed me Alex. I was blind for almost 14 years. And thats how old I was at the bloody time. Just stay the fuck away from me. I don't want anything to do with you." I almost shouted.

"Ruby please don't say that. I love you."

The fuck? He loves who? Bloffing.

"Love? You don't fucking know me. You leave me blind for 14 years, now that I can see you wanna come back? For what? So you can make me blind again? Fuck off fam." I kissed my teeth.

I knew people were watching but I don't care. Let the whole world know.

"Can we talk about this privately please? People are watching." He slightly whispered.

He came towards me again making me move back.

"I don't care. Let everyone know. THIS FUCKING DICKHEAD LEFT ME BLIND FOR FOURTEEN YEARS!" I shouted out.

"Ruby stop. You need to actually listen to me. I-"

"No. Shut up. I don't want to hear anything from you. Now if you don't mind my fiance's gonna be here soon so you can leave."
