It has been two days since Tanjiro and Nezuko were badly injured after the battle with lower moon 4. But suddenly Nezuko woke up from deep sleep.
She couldn't remember what had happened to her after Shotoko slammed her badly on ground before she could respond she first scanned the room where she was lying. The room was unfamiliar to her , but suddenly a breaking sound of glass caught her attention.
She hesitantly tilted her head only found Lady Tamayo on the door .
"Lady Tamayo ."Nezuko said with her shaking voice
" Nezuko you are finally awake, when I found out your injuries I was shocked." Tamayo voice was filled with kindness as if she was asking her child when they get injured .
"is that so. And what about Ronin?."
"Oh he was first one to wake even though his injuries were bad than yours but thanks to his training he will be recovered within three days."
"Really! I didn't know" - even though Nezuko was awake she was struggling due to injuries, to calm her down Lady Tamayo decided that Nezuko should rest for a while.
" Nezuko you should rest for a while, you can depart for your next mission within three days" Lady Tamayo said with her usual smile .
"But-"
"No but Nezuko I know that you don't want any demon slayer to found you here but your injuries are not healed just like him, he has fast recovery than yours and even if I allow you, your wounds would be open and it can also become worse, you should know." Lady Tamayo's voice was filled with concern because she didn't want her to get her injuries worse.
Before reacting Nezuko think twice what to say but it only concluded that she will take rest for three more days before commencing her next mission which also happy nodded by lady Tamayo.
On first day she used to do exercise which was taught by Rengoku during her training. On second day she balanced her breathing and in last day she performed her all forms of flame breathing before leaving mansion where Lady Tamayo lived. But during this period Nezuko and Tanjiro never trained or cross path they only have word exchange with letters as Lady Tamayo don't allow Tanjiro to leave room due to his intense training which concerns her.
On fourth day Lady Tamayo called Nezuko in basement so that she could bandage her as she has one broken bones while her ankle was twitched .
"Nezuko be careful while going on next mission as your wounds are still healing" Lady Tamayo said with concerning voice.
"yes lady Tamayo, I would be more careful during other mission as of now Ronin is going with me for next mission"
"Is that so I didn't expected that"
But suddenly they heard Tanjiro's voice from above
"Miss Tamayo!" Tanjiro called out as he slowly walks into the house, being careful at his movements as he was expecting to hear a voice.
"Over here! Over here!" A familiar voice came from the basement. Tanjiro heard voice of none other than Yushiro from basement."Not that you need to come here at all but if you want to, then get down here."
"Yushiro!" Tamayo scold.
"Only joking!"
"Hurry down here then, Tan- means means Ronin" Tamayo's voice was filled with kindness, unlike Yushiro. But she was more careful that Nezuko didn't heard that and any one mistake it will lead to revealing his identity and there plan to hunt down Muzan with demon slayer will be ruined.
