The Missing Princess

Faye got home from work feeling all tired. She slumped on the couch massaging her head because it was hurting.

"Would you like some warm milk dear?" her maid asked her in her mother like tone

"Yes auntie, and please no sugar" she smiled warmly at the old lady

"Okay. And please come in the dinning so you can have your dinner" the old lady told her

"I'll be there in a minute auntie" she replied closing her eyes

She heard a faint sound, she tried to listen carefully when the Gardner entered the house with his dirty feet with a grass cutter in his hand

"Uhh. Are you okay Danny?" Faye ask him

"Ohh ma'am, you're here. I was just about to ask auntie about you" he said enthusiastically

"Well, I'm here. What seems to be the problem?" she asks

"About the growing flowers at the front yard ma'am. What style do you want me to make for them?" he asked

Faye found the question very weird but she shakes the thoughts inside her head and smiled at him

"You can just do it the old way Dan. And it's you job so it's your expertise " she gave him a tap on his shoulder

"Got it boss!" he replied while staring at his boss's back with a meaning look

Faye sat on the chair

"Auntie, can you sit? It's just the two of us. Let's eat together?" she invited her

"Is that okay?"

"Of course auntie. And my body guard will arrive in a minute, he just parked the car"
the maid nodded

A man in his casual attire called Faye

"Please sit down Rob, Let's eat" he nodded and obliged

"Your father was right. You are a nice person" Rob said smiling

"Good person and Nice person are different Rob" Faye said

"What do you mean ma'am?" he asks

"Nothing. Eat" Faye said and continue eating.
He nodded and smiled

Faye took a shower and lay on her bed. She was thinking about her future, she tried to analyze everything. She couldn't understand why all her exes left her. What was she lacking? Or is there anything wrong with her?

This thoughts are consuming her brain when she heard a loud thud.

"What was that?" she asks standing up

"Oh my god!" she jumped when a whipped sounds was heard

She called her body guard upstairs. She was calm but she needed someone by her side

"Ma'am? did you hear that sound?" Rob was catching his Breath

"Yes. What do you think it is?" she ask

"Shhh" Rob hush her when he heard a woman's voice and she was crying and begging

Faye look at the clock and it was already midnight

"Shit! Where's that coming from?" she ask nervously

"I don't know either ma'am" he shakes his head

"Let's go downstairs" Faye said and left the room

Rob followed her behind and make sure not make a sound

Faye tried to find the sound but it went silent again. They stopped walking and observe when another loud sound was heard and Faye turned her head to the big clock in the living room.
