Cas stood on the edge of the high rise, Gabriel held so tightly in his arms that the boy was pressed into his neck. He was unusually quiet for his character so Cas wasn't sure if he had fallen asleep on his wild run up the stairs to get to where they were, or if even he knew what was about to come.

Cas couldn't do this anymore. Live this life. And in a snap decision while leaving it, realized he'd be leaving behind his baby brother of only five. And what life would the kid have without him? Being abandoned as they were just last week by their father. It's not like Chuck ever had much hand in raising either of them anyway before his grand exit. No, without Cas Gabe would be trucked off to some foster home or orphanage, and he'd never crawl his way out of a terrible life. This was better.

Cas stood on the edge overlooking the city below as the sun started to set. The bustling streets filled with the nine to fivers trying to make their way back home to start fresh tomorrow. Cas wondered how many people's afternoon he was about to ruin or if people would just step over the splattered corpses of him and his brother. He had to do this quickly. Before the people who had been chasing after him caught up to him. Already, he can hear heavy footsteps and shouting in the stairwell several yards behind him. And he didn't want the loud shouting to wake Gabe up if the kid really was asleep.

He took a deep breath and took a step forward, tightly holding on to Gabe and squeezing his eyes shut as he began to stare down oblivion. His stomach dropped as his other foot started to follow.

Then he was...choking? The collar of his shirt pulled so tight around his throat he couldn't draw in any air as his body was jerked back and a thick, strong arm wrapped around his waist. Tears stung at his cheeks and fell into the empty air below him as he was violently jerked back. Gabe was taken from his arms, and he scrambled for him, "No! You can't take him!" he shouted out to the men in their fancy suits.

"Why? Looks like you weren't doing him any good up here. You crazy son of a bitch." Came a deep rumbling voice from behind him.

Cas turned in the arm still wrapped around his waist to see a tall muscled alpha. Wind swept hair from the breeze up this high blowing in the wind. Cas couldn't decide if he was a brunette or a blonde, his skin tanned and perfect, jaw studded with just a little more than a five o'clock shadow, but those eyes...those emerald green eyes pierced into his very being. Those eyes tore away everything he was with one unbelieving glare down to him at what he'd been about to do.

Cas turned back for the edge, the adrenaline leaving his body now from that one step he had taken, "Please...please just let me go. I need to fly." he said with a ragged breath as his lungs caught up to the panic his body was experiencing. He fought against that arm a little more, until his vision started to fuzz in the corners, and he slumped forward.

Dean Winchester held the form of the passed out omega in his arms. He smelled like the flowers that would bloom in central park, his scent so sweet and tantalizing. He took a deep greedy breath of it before looking back at his guys. "The kid alright?"

His younger brother Sam gave a nod as the child stirred in his arms a little before snuggling back into his shoulder and going to sleep.

"Well, take him to doc anyways, get him checked out." Dean ordered. He motions for Adam to come forward, passing off the passed out form of the omega he pulled back from suicide to him. "And get this one to my office. We have a lot to discuss once he wakes up. And he's not going to like it." Adam gave a quick curt nod gathering up the limp body of Castiel Novak into his arms, tossing him over his shoulder as they made their way back for the stairwell.

When Cas woke again he was shaking, it took a while for the weeks events to play out in his mind like some fucked up movie. First, Chuck had stolen his debit card from him while he slept, emptied his bank account of what little they had to cover rent and food costs for the month. He tried arguing fraud with the bank, but they didn't care, they just kicked him out.
