AUTHIR POV
Jungkook's hands trembled slightly as he finished reading the letter. The words cut through his anger, making him pause and reflect on his actions. For the first time, he felt something other than frustration-he felt shame.
He clenched the letter in his hand, a myriad of emotions swirling within him. The words echoed in his mind, challenging everything he thought he knew about strength, power, and control. He had tried to break her, to force her into submission, but instead, she had shown him a different kind of strength-one that didn't rely on aggression or domination.
Slowly, he folded the letter back up and tucked it into his jacket. He had a lot to think about. This wasn't just about racing anymore. It was about something much bigger, something he didn't fully understand yet.As he walked away from the track that night, Jungkook knew that he had been changed by the encounter.
In the bustling nighttime atmosphere of the racing field, engines roar and adrenaline fills the air. Jungkook, suited up in his sleek racing gear, revs his bike with a devil-may-care smile. He glances around, waiting, when he spots the unmistakable rider in a hijab and helmet, the "A.K." logo catching the lights.
His thoughts linger. "There she is… My mystery. My love."
Arifa, as always, remains silent, her face hidden, her body language unreadable. She avoids any eye contact, an enigma on the field. She adjusts her gloves, tightening her grip, eyes focused ahead. Jungkook smirks, revving his engine beside her.
As the race begins, they speed off. Jungkook keeps close, racing alongside her lap after lap. He shouts, hoping to break through her quiet resolve.
"Hey, silent girl! I don’t know your name, but you’re always here. You ever think of making this race interesting?” He laughs, his voice carrying over the engine noise.
Arifa remains silent, only focusing on the path, her every move controlled and precise, as though his words mean nothing. But Jungkook is relentless, keeping up with her every turn.
After the race ends, she comes to a halt. Without a word, she takes out her notepad and scribbles a note, handing it to him without looking his way.
He reads: "Don’t waste words here. This life is a passing race, remember that."
He chuckles to himself. "Deep as always, huh? Fine… keep your secrets. But I’ll break that wall, someday."
As she starts to ride off, he calls out under his breath, just loud enough for himself to hear, "My love."
Jungkook follows her path out of the racing field. His engine echoes behind her as she weaves through empty roads and quiet alleys, her bike silent and swift.
Suddenly, she takes a sharp turn into a narrow alley. Jungkook follows, narrowing his eyes. "Where are you going, mystery girl?" he whispers.
She takes another turn, faster this time, and then another. But when he turns the last corner, she’s gone—vanished as if into thin air. He stops, scanning the shadows, frustration mixing with awe.
he mutters to himself, "Unbelievable… hiding from me, are you? But don’t think I’m giving up. You’ll come back, and when you do—" he smirks, "I'll be right here, waiting for you to slip up… just once."
He speeds off, the engine's growl fading as he heads back.
