AUTHOR POV

Mona and Arifa arrived at the race field together, the engines of their bikes humming in the background. As they parked, Arifa lifted her visor, revealing her eyes, but kept her mask on.

Mona glanced over and smiled. "It feels good to be back, huh?"

Arifa nodded, her voice quiet but clear. "Yeah, it's been a while. I almost forgot how much I missed this."

"You were out for so long. I'm glad you're feeling better," Mona said, watching as Arifa adjusted her helmet.

Arifa sighed softly. "I needed the break, but it's strange being here again. So much has changed."

Mona gave her a knowing look. "You mean Jungkook?"

Arifa didn't answer immediately. She looked around the track, her eyes scanning the crowd. "He's not here," she said finally, her voice calm but distant.

Mona shrugged. "Maybe it's for the best. Focus on yourself and the race. You've always been strong on your own."

Arifa glanced at Mona and gave a small nod. "You're right. Today is just about the race."

Mona smiled and patted Arifa on the back. "Exactly. Let's show them what we're made of."

Arifa lifted her visor back down, sealing herself in her helmet. "Let's do this," she said before heading toward her bike, ready for the race ahead.

Arifa zoomed past the finish line, the roar of her bike echoing across the race field. The crowd erupted in cheers, but her focus was on the moment-on the victory. She had just won the race against Ryker and Vic, Jungkook's rivals. They were known for their fierce racing styles, but today, she had left them both in the dust.

Mona rushed over to her, grinning widely. "You did it, Arifa! You beat Ryker and Vic! That was incredible!"

Arifa, still catching her breath, lifted her visor, her eyes shining with a mix of determination and relief. "I had to. They were tough, but... it's done."

Ryker and Vic, clearly frustrated, pulled off their helmets and exchanged looks, not used to being outdone. Ryker shot a glance toward Arifa, shaking his head in disbelief. "That was some race," he muttered, walking off without saying more.

Vic, always the louder of the two, stomped over to Arifa, a smirk on his face. "Don't think this is over, masked girl. Next time, we're coming for you."

Arifa didn't bother responding, her eyes cool and unreadable beneath the helmet. She had nothing to prove to them-her victory spoke for itself.

Mona nudged her playfully. "Ignore them. You showed them what real skill looks like."

Arifa nodded. "It's not about them. It's about the race."

She looked around once more, scanning the crowd, but still, there was no sign of Jungkook. She shook her head slightly, letting the thought pass, and focused on the win. Today was about her, her skill, and the thrill of the race.

As Arifa was leaving the race field, her mind still on the victory, a man stepped in front of her bike. She pulled to a sudden stop, her heart racing as she didnt recognized him he was looking at her he will do something bad to her.Jack, alongside Ryker and Vic, blocked her path. His smug grin sent a chill down her spine.

"Where are you going, huh? You can't escape this time," Jack sneered. "Jungkook said for us to deal with you tonight."

Arifa's eyes widened beneath her helmet. Jungkook said this Her mind raced with confusion, shock pulsing through her veins. How could Jungkook, the one who had always shown her a strange mix of care and obsession, betray her like this
