real life
It was august 7th 2024, 5:20 am and it was the first day of school, I wouldn't usually wake up this early, but it was the first day of school and i can't show up to school looking like i didn't get any sleep. I scrolled on my phone for 10 minutes knowing I have enough time to fully wake up, get ready and get to school on time. Once I fully woke up it was around 5:30 am and i had about an hour till I need to be out the house. I walked out my room and into the bathroom to brush my teeth quietly trying not to wake up my older brother aaron, we've been playing soccer the whole summer but he stayed out practicing longer even after I stopped playing, so i let him sleep, also he doesn't need a full hour to get ready. I finished brushing my teeth and went back to my room to get ready, I did my make up don't doing too much but looking presentable, then changed into my outfit, a white shirt and light blue jeans with my black converse, its basic but also its school not the met gala. We had 30 minutes left so I went and woke up my brother giving him enough time to get ready and at the bus stop in time. We finally walked out and I saw nicky, we live it the same street so we always walked to school together while aaron walks behind us with his random friends. We get to school at 7, me and nicky start searching for ivy and aria till I see aria pointing at me and nicky. as they start running towards me and nicky.
"RORYY, NIC!! I HAVENT SEEN YALL IN YEARS" aria says hugging the two brunettes exaggerating the last time they saw each other
"I KNOW I CANT WAIT TO HAVE LUNCH TOGETHER" aurora said separating the hug
Then goes running over to ivy who was waiting to have her moment with aurora
"IVY I MISSED YOU SO MUCH" aurora says squeezing the blonde girl tightly
"I MISSED YOU TOO, CANT BELIEVE WE HAVE NO CLASSES TOGETHER"
"I KNOW IM NOT GOING TO MAKE IT WITHOUT YOU"
right before I was going to say something the assistant principle starts talking into the microphone.
"If you're just getting here today is a B day which is 2 4 6 and 8th period"
Our school always wants to be cute and different so they give us 8 classes and on wednesday and Thursday each class is 2 hours long which always makes days feel longer.
"why is today a b day I wanna get this over with already" I said bringing back the conversation
"I know like it's the first day of school why cant we go to all classes?" said aria
"I guess its cause its Thursday" ivy says shrugging her shoulders
"I guess- wait if today is b day then that means we have a lunch cause we're upstairs" I said turning to nicky
" wait youre right"
"so is your friend gonna sit with us or with other people"
"um I don't know, why?"
"what do you mean why, I need to make a good first impression"
"why do you need to make a good first impression?"
"oh my gosh its like you don't understand" I say rolling my eyes
"if I want her to be my friend I have to make sure she doesn't hate me which means I cant give her a reason to hate me so I need to make a good first impression"
"oohh" nicky says now understanding my plan
"well shes lynn so I don't think she'll care"
"you say that like I know who she is.."
"wait lynn loud?" ivy says interrupting herself from the conversation her and aria were having
"um yeah?" I say confused.
