Sonic X - A New Enemy (Crossover AU)

Chapter 1: Prologue

SPOILERS TO SONIC X - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Author's Notes:

To everyone who are big fans of the Sonic franchise, this is my first time writing the characters in a story, so I apologize for any inconsistencies or character nerfs in this story.

To those who didn't know, this story is taking place in the same universe as Rose The Magical Flower and Batman Arkham: Save The Justice League. No, you do not have to read the stories, I'm just clarifying that they're all connected.

To those wondering how long this story will be, so far this story is going to take place in season 1 and possibly expand into season 2. I'm not sure when the story will end, I guess it'll end when I decide to end it after I finish Sonic X. I will be skipping some episodes that I feel like weren't important to the plot, basically filler episodes.

And the story is going to start around the time before the military sent their assault on Eggman's base.

I also want to apologize for making this story take place in the modern day (2024) since I know the show was made in 2003. The universe it's connected to also takes place in the modern day, so that's like a prerequisite for this story.

One last warning, before we actually start, there will be some mild language being used in this story, as well as some graphic images will be used. It's not going to be like 18+, more like PG-13. None of the Sonic crew will be swearing, if that's what you're thinking.

3rd Person P.O.V.

Sonic and his friends have been on this strange new world for a couple of weeks now. Chris, his grandfather, Mr. Tanaka, and Ella have done their best to keep hidden from the public inside the mansion and away from people. The government is still after Sonic ever since he first arrived here.

They're also after Dr. Eggman too. The ingenious doctor has established his base on an island far from town and kept his whereabouts secret to avoid being caught. Both Sonic and Eggman are after the same thing: Chaos Emeralds.

Seven of them have been spread around on this planet, so it's a race to acquire all seven first.

Sonic and his friends have one already, but Eggman has none so far. Which is good, because there's no telling what that madman would do if he gotten his hands on just one of those Emeralds.

Tails has a detection device built into the Tornado X to locate any Chaos Emeralds nearby whenever the plane is near one of them. A green Chaos Emerald is being used to make the plane stronger and perform tasks better. Dr. Eggman also has a detection device that's identical to Tails' device 

However, unbeknownst to Tails and Dr. Eggman, someone else has a detection device that's tracking the energy source from the Chaos Emeralds from far away - further than one could expect.

New York City:

Inside the very large spacesuit hovering above the ocean, the pilot comes storming out of the control room. He's a very small gray-skinned man - similar height and size to Sonic - wearing a purple dyed space suit with golden gloves and boots on his hands and feet respectively. 

A vertical line trails down in the middle of his torso with two glowing white horizontal streaks over the golden line. One top of his head donned a blocky purple helmet with two sets of golden horns attached to it. The first set starts at the side of his head, very small but extended out enough to look significant. The second set is much longer and pointier than the first set, they look like deer antlers.
