Athena POV :

Upon entering the dining room, I felt the gaze of my family upon me. I wasted no time in asking my father, Klaus, directly. "Good evening, Dad. My card seems to be malfunctioning. Is there an issue with my account?"

Klaus raised his voice, frustration evident in his tone, "You're 26 years old, and yet you refuse to join the family company or assist your own sister, who is the CEO. Not only that, but you've managed to spend $50,000 in just three days. How can you be so irresponsible?"

In her mind, Athena thought to herself, "Dad always pulls this stunt on me each month, only to end up forgiving me. Even though Arachne is the CEO and the elder sister, I'm undoubtedly the favorite. I just need to stay quiet, and he'll let it go, as usual."

Klaus's voice was firm as he declared, "This time, I won't let it slide. Your card will remain inactive. Don't argue with me, Athena also give me the car key ."

Isabelle and Arachne, sitting quietly and silently observing the scene, were equally on the same page as Klaus, their expressions mirroring his determination and disappointment.

Athena, her voice laced with a mix of confusion and desperation, asked, "Dad, is this a joke? You're not really going to do this, are you?"

Frustration mounting, Klaus repeated firmly, "This is not a joke, Athena. I'm not kidding. Hand over your car key. Now."

Athena's panic grew, her voice trembling as she exclaimed, "Dad, please, no! You can't take away my car. I need it. Please, don't do this."

Klaus stared at Athena with a stern and resolute expression on his face. With a sigh, Athena reluctantly stood up and handed over the car key to her father, her shoulders slumped in defeat.

Klaus continued, his words firm and final, "It's not just your car and money, Athena. You won't be living in California anymore."

Athena's jaw dropped in complete shock. "You can't be serious, Dad. Are you saying I have to leave California?"

Klaus' voice carried a hint of nostalgia as he reminded her, "You remember my hometown, don't you? Destiny Town."

Athena nodded, her voice resigned yet tinged with a hint of resignation. "Yeah, Dad. I remember it."

Klaus nodded, his tone matter-of-fact. "Good, because that's where you'll be moving. Destiny Town, my hometown."

Athena, her voice filled with a mix of resignation and dread, replied, "So you're sending me to Destiny Town?"

Klaus' tone was resolute. "Exactly, Athena. You will stay at home tonight, pack your belongings, and make preparations for your departure. Tomorrow onwards, Destiny Town will be your new home. I'll give you the house key and address there."

Athena's face paled as she pleaded, her voice filled with desperation. "But Dad, please. I beg you. Forgive me this one last time. I promise it won't happen again. How am I supposed to get to Destiny Town without a car?"

Klaus took a breath before replying, his voice stern yet with a hint of compromise. "Wait. First, I'll give you 2,000 dollars to sustain you for six months. During that time, find a job and use the money to purchase your necessities. However, once the money runs out, you'll need to rely on yourself to pay for your expenses. As for how you will go to Destiny Town, there are buses available, so use them for transportation."

Frustration and desperation boiled over in Athena, her voice rising in protest. "2,000 dollars for six months? And no car, I have to take a bus and find a job? Dad, I'm your daughter, please! Be reasonable!"

Klaus calmly replied, his tone firm but resigned. "If you hadn't been recklessly spending a fortune when I advised you to keep your expenses in check, you wouldn't be in this situation now. You're going to Destiny Town, whether you like it or not. If you behave yourself there for six months, I may consider letting you return."

Klaus remained steadfast in his decision, adding firmly, "If you don't learn to control your spending habits, you'll be stuck there for a longer time.

Athena, holding back her tears, murmured resignedly, "I guess you won't change your mind."

Klaus confirmed, his voice stern, "No, I won't. Take your dinner and get some sleep now."

Athena took her seat at the dinner table, her mind filled with a mixture of sadness and frustration. She silently picked at her food, struggling to keep her emotions in check. The atmosphere around the table was unusually quiet and tense, a stark contrast to their usual lively dinners. Athena fought back her tears, knowing that this would be her last meal with her family for the next six months, forced to go to Destiny Town.

Athena returned to her room, her heart heavy with sadness and frustration. Despite the tears welling up in her eyes, she refused to let her emotions show. With a clenched jaw, she began packing her belongings for the next day's journey to Destiny Town, determined to face the situation bravely.

The night ahead for Athena was far from restful. Tossing and turning in her bed, she found it impossible to fall into a deep sleep. Her mind was filled with a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions, ranging from resentment towards her father's decision to the uncertainty and anxiety about the future awaiting her in Destiny Town.
