Scourge pov

Scourge padded with: Firestar, Graystripe and Jake, back to the camp with the catmint. 

Jake had shown them the location of the catmint and they had gotten a worth while amount. 

"Greetings" Scourge had said when he returned to camp. Thankfully nobody had died yet, and the camp looked the same as it had when they had left. "Who's this?" Cinderpelt looked at Jake whom gave her a respectful look. "My name is Jake"

The camp had settled down by moon high and Scourge, Cinderpelt and Firestar had been chosen to guard the camp "Me and Cinderpelt will guard main entrance and Firestar you can guard the back end of the camp" Scourge said to the group. Firestar nodded and padded away, leaving Scourge and Cinderpelt alone.

"Hello" Cinderpelt said to him "Hows your day been?" "Fine" was Scourges only response. "Yunno I have to tell you something" Scourge looked at Cinderpelt with a confused expression. "I love you" The words choked out of Scourges mouth.

Cinderpelt pov (OMG WOW)

Cinderpelt stared at Scourge "I do to" She mumbled. "But I am a medicine cat".

Cinderpelt jumped into the story of how medicine cats cant take mates ect ect 

Scourge pov (Guess who's back? Back again)

The light from Scourges eyes died. Dead, ice cold. He ran back to camp and stuffed his face right back into the ground, Where it belongs. Scourge looked up to the stars and wondered what was going on up there. 

Sun rise

The sun was rising and the camp was very quiet. Nobody had said anything exept that Spottedleaf had said "Dustpelt has recovered and is ready to travel".

The cats from the camp rose to their feet and left, the journey was slow and boring. Can't wait for something to happen. Just as he had that thought, a tree suddenly tilted and fell, It was flying strait for Jake, the fear in Jakes eyes was so traumatic. Scourge couldn't look away as the tree fell towards his father. 

To Scourges and Jakes surprise, Firestar leaped into Jake, pushing him out of the way.

A massive smash sounded around them as the tree hit the ground destroying everything underneath it FIRESTAR!. Scourge thought, once he could, Scourge sprinted into the area and looked for Firestar.

After a few moments, he found a bloody, open, ginger, skull of a cat with the rest of its body mushed under the tree. Good God! Scourge thought as he looked down at the destroyed cat. Jake found the body and couldn't believe his eyes.

Firestar had died.

Scourge and Jake sat there for a moment longer before they noticed something strange.. The body disappeared from existence. "What the hell?" Jake asked Scourge whom just shrugged. 

Suddenly Firestar appeared in the sky and walked down towards them.

Once he made it he said "9 Lives remember?" Scourge looked at Firestar blankly. We have nine lives?! Scourge thought. "No silly" Firestar said as if he had read Scourges mind "Leaders get their nine lives from Starclan" 

Ah yes the nine lives 

Just to clarify, not everyone in the book has nine lives.

Just leaders. Leaders have 'Star' at the end of their names.
