Scourge looked around at his surroundings Oh the vigil He remembered as he looked at his father's lifeless body. Jake had died saving Cinderpelts life in the Battle yesterday and the patrol had carried his body to the camp. 

Scourge was the first to sit and would be the last to leave that night. 

I was rather fond of him

The next day

Scourge woke and found himself lying next to Jake. "Scourge," Firestar said "It's time to go". Scourge grunted in annoyance but got up anyway.

The patrol wandered past the ravine and towards the mountains. "Ok guys, this is going to be a tough mission, but if we manage to get past these mountains, we might just be safe from the infected" Scourge announced to the group as they walked through the some mud. I wish it was closer Scourge thought as they approached a paddock with sheep and cows.

"What on the planet of the monkeys is that?" Firestar asked as they stalked around some cows. "They are cows," Scourge said "They mean no harm, but it's better to keep your distance from them" Just as Scourge said a cow turned around and charged toward them. It's eyes RE.D

Scourge bolted down the paddock in the opposite direction and leaped onto a two-leg fence. 

So much was happening that Scourge could see but...

He looked to the corner of the paddock and saw TIGERSTAR?!

"FEAR"

Everyone seemed to hear it and they all stopped fighting the cow and looked around.

"I COME TO YOU WITH A BASIC REQUEST, GIVE ME SCOURGE AND YOU ALL WILL BE UNHARMED, GIVE ME SCOURGE AND YOU WILL BE REWARDED, AND IF YOU DON'T GIVE ME SCOURGE, I SHALL KILL EVERY LAST TOM SHE-CAT AND KIT THAT TRIES TO HIDE HIM FROM ME, I NOW SPEAK TO SCOURGE ALONE, IF YOU DO NOT DIE SOON EVERYONE WILL DI-"

Every single cat, cow, and sheep seemed to hear that one. Scourge looked at the cats below as they all stormed towards him. "Don't worry we won't hurt you" Firestar said "We need to hide you" 

The patrol bolted as fast as they possibly could in the direction of the mountains.

One moon later

"Here we are the mountains" Scourge announced to the group as they approached a track leading up the mountain. "Yep," Firestar replied, sounding relieved.

The patrol wandered up the mountain towards the top. "I reckon we should camp here," Brakenpelt said to the group, that's the first time he's spoken Scourge thought as he looked at Brakenpelt curiously.
