Chapter Sixteen

Cassie's POV

"Harry I honestly don't care what you have to say anymore." I began.

"Cassie I have a plan, I think I can get us out of here."

"Out of here? We're dead you idiot." I said harshly.

"Yeah but not for long." he said with a smirk.

"Harry what are you even talking about."

"That 'thing' you heard in the attic, I think I know what it is."

"Well..? What is it?" I said impatiently.

"My uncle."

"What does your uncle have to do with anything?" I asked annoyed.

"My uncle is a sorcerer, and when I say uncle, I mean great, great, great uncle. I think he can get us out of here, but he hasn't come to terms with who he is yet. He had a lot of unfinished business and he's not in the form of himself. He's in the form of his beloved wife, Katrien. He loved her so much, they got into an argument before he died, she didn't know he was special and she was upset the love of her life hadn't told her. She was so hurt she told him to leave and never come back, he wasn't leaving, he just wanted to give her some space and he left and got ambushed by a much higher power that had been tracking his kind for centuries. And now he's trapped here, in the form of his wife."

He paused for a minute, then continued talking.

"She was a beautiful woman, Katrien was. She had beautiful long naturally blonde hair, every guy wanted to be with her. But my uncle took her place because he doesn't know where he is, all he remembers is the last thing on his mind, which was Katrien."

"So what are we going to tell her- well I mean he?" I asked

"I don't know yet, we should probably start with just letting him believe he's Katrien, so he doesn't remember what happened, because if he remembers he'll be filled with grief, and we'll never get out of this place."

"I really think we should tell him the truth, Harry. What if he remembers? He'll be mad and won't do shit for us."

"Just trust me Cassie, it'll be fine."

Something felt off with Harry, but I didn't say anything, I just felt like something big was gonna happen, and something bad too.
