Now Jimin is sitting on the sofa, cuddles with his stepfather.

Jimin nestled closer to his stepfather, feeling a deep sense of comfort in the warmth of his embrace. It had been so long since they had shared a moment like this, and it made Jimin realize just how much he had missed it. The words Mr. Kim spoke, though heavy with concern, also carried the love and care that had always been there, even when they hadn’t understood each other.

"Appa," Jimin said softly, his voice filled with emotion, "I know you only wanted what was best for me. I understand that now. The things you said... I know they came from a place of love, even if they were hard to hear at the time. But please don’t blame yourself. I learned a lot from you, and I’m grateful for that."

Mr. Kim sighed deeply, his hand gently stroking Jimin’s back. "I just wanted to prepare you for the world, Jimin-ah. But I realize now that in trying to protect you, I may have been too harsh. I’m sorry for the things I said that hurt you. But I’m proud of the way you’ve handled everything, especially these past few months. You and Jungkook… you’ve both shown strength beyond your years."

Jimin nodded, feeling tears welling up again as he listened to his stepfather’s heartfelt words. "It wasn’t easy, Appa," he admitted, his voice trembling slightly. "There were times when I was scared, when I didn’t know if I could do it. But Jungkook and I, we leaned on each other, and that’s what got us through. Your support, even if from afar, was always with me."

Mr. Kim looked down at Jimin, his eyes filled with a mix of pride and concern. "You’re right, nurturing and raising a family is one of the hardest things you’ll ever do. And I won’t lie, Jimin-ah, I’m still worried. But seeing how you’ve handled everything so far, I know you have what it takes. You’ve grown so much, and I’m proud of the man you’ve become."

Jimin smiled through his tears, feeling a warmth spread through his chest. "Thank you, Appa. Your words mean more to me than you know. I’ll keep doing my best, for our family, and for you."

Mr. Kim pulled Jimin closer, pressing a kiss to the top of his head. "And we’ll be here to support you, every step of the way. You’re not alone in this, Jimin-ah. Remember that."

As they sat there, father and son, the bond between them felt stronger than ever, built not just on love but on understanding and mutual respect. Jimin knew that whatever challenges lay ahead, he could face them with his family by his side.

"Thanks, Jungkook for taking care of my son" Mrs. Kim started the conversation with Jungkook.

"It's nothing, Mrs. Kim." Jungkook fluttered. "All of this is my fault. I'm sorry for disappointing you" Jungkook apologized sincerely.

"It was both of your faults," Mrs. Kim interrupted. "But Park Jimin, you should use protection. You know, to avoid that happening." Mrs. Kim pointed at Jimin's stomach.

"Eomma... "

Mr. Kim laughing seeing his stepson whining.

Jungkook looked at Mrs. Kim, his face flushing with a mix of embarrassment and remorse. He had always respected her opinion and felt the weight of her words.

"Yes, Mrs. Kim," Jungkook said, nodding. "We understand that now. We should have been more responsible, and we’re truly sorry for the situation we’re in."

Jimin, still nestled against his stepfather, blushed at the directness of Mrs. Kim’s comment. He looked up at her with a sheepish smile. "We realize that, and we’re both learning from our mistakes. We’ll make sure to be more careful in the future."

Mrs. Kim’s expression softened slightly, though her concern remained. "I’m not trying to be harsh, Jimin. It’s just important to learn from these experiences. You both need to be more mindful moving forward."

Jungkook nodded, taking her words to heart. "We understand, and we’ll do our best to be more responsible. We want to ensure that we’re ready for everything that comes our way."

Mr. Kim added gently, "It’s true that both of you made mistakes, but what matters now is how you handle the future. It’s clear you both care deeply for each other and for this baby. That’s what counts."

Jimin smiled, feeling reassured by the support and understanding from both of his parents-in-law. "Thank you for your guidance and support. We’ll take your advice to heart and make sure we’re more prepared."

Mrs. Kim gave a nod of approval. "I’m glad to hear that. We all want what’s best for you and the baby. And remember, we’re here to help, too."

The atmosphere in the room shifted to one of mutual understanding and support. Despite the challenges and mistakes, Jimin and Jungkook knew they had the love and guidance of their family to help them navigate the path ahead.

"What is going on here? Why appa cuddles with my brother?"

Jin’s sudden appearance took everyone by surprise. Jin just came back from the shop, sulking after seeing his father and his younger brother cuddles together. He is not jealous of his father, but of his brother. "Chim, hug me... Cuddles with me. Not appa."

Jimin continued to hold his stepfather tightly, fully absorbed in the comfort and relief of finally having Mr. Kim’s acceptance and support. The moment was too precious for him to let go.

Seeing the sincerity and depth of Jimin’s emotions, Jin took a deep breath and decided to give his brother the space he needed. Instead, he turned to Jungkook with a small, appreciative nod. "Thank you, Jungkook. I know you’ve been through a lot, and I’m glad you’re here for Chim."

Jungkook nodded back, acknowledging Jin’s gesture. "Thank you, Jin Hyung. We’re all here for each other, and that’s what matters."

As Jimin remained in his stepfather’s embrace, feeling a profound sense of gratitude and peace, he silently acknowledged the complex dynamics of their family. For now, he was content to bask in the closeness and understanding he had longed for, knowing that the family would work through their feelings and support each other in time.
