On the way out of the school, Jungkook sees Jimin waiting alone. He takes this as an opportunity to approach this cute boy.

"I'm sorry, were you talking to me?" Jungkook asks Jimin, who is standing alone in front of the school fence. Jimin leans against the wall, and he frowns upon hearing Jungkook's question.

"No, I'm not talking to you." Jimin was embarrassed to look at Jungkook's face. His head was lowered as his feet scratched the pebbles on the ground.

"Well then, please start."

Jimin started to smile. Jungkook decided to accompany Jimin. He stands next to Jimin and leans against the school fence just like Jimin. Jimin still doesn't look at Jungkook. One of Jimin's weaknesses is that he can't look at someone's face or eyes for too long. He's a shy person, a very shy person.

After not hearing any response from Jimin, Jungkook lowers his head and peeks at the cute boy.

"Peekaboo!" Jungkook plays like a kid. "Peek, peek a peek a boo!" Jungkook tries many times to gain Jimin's attention. "Peek a peek a boo!" Jungkook keeps hiding and pops his head back into Jimin's view.

Jungkook's actions make Jimin laugh. Jimin covers his face with both hands, hiding his red face.

"Cutie, don't hide your pretty face. My eyes want to see it. I think there must be something wrong with my eyes; I can’t take them off you."

"I'm not pretty. Don't say that."

Jimin finally looks at Jungkook's face. Jungkook's warmth makes Jimin feel comfortable. He is still shy, but the man standing next to him is very different—very interesting and very funny.

"Chim!" Jin shouted for his brother. Jin looked tired from running.

"Hyung, you're late! I've been waiting here alone!" Jimin whined because he had been waiting for his brother for a long time.

"I don't think you're alone," Jin pointed his finger at Jungkook. "You have a new friend."

"He's..."

"Yes, for now, I'm your new friend. Next time, I'll be your boyfriend; the time after that, I'll be your fiancée, and the time after that... I'll be your husband," Jungkook said confidently. Jimin, as usual, laughed at Jungkook's confidence.

"In your dream, Jeon Jungkook! Don't flirt with my brother; he's too pure for you. Let's go, Chim."

Jin pulled his brother's hand, and they left Jungkook alone.

"Bye, cutie..." Jungkook waved his hand at Jimin. "See you tomorrow," he told Jimin in a loud voice.

Jimin wanted to wave back to Jungkook, but Jin quickly held Jimin's hand. Jimin just replied with a smile.

"This is the first step. You can do it, Jeon Jungkook, slow and steady."

Jungkook chuckles to himself. Slow and steady? No, not in his dictionary. He works quickly to get what he wants.
