Hello, readers! It's MasterofBeasts, and I have recently developed a new story. Before I explain what the story will be, there's something that all of you must know, despite it being a little unnecessary.
Why I left MHA
When I started Wattpad, I created an MHA X Evolve crossover story titled Beast Within, which used to be one of my oldest creations. Although the plot was doing fine initially, due to my ignorance and the cringe that I created within the story, such as adding unnecessary humor and another unnecessary characters from a different universe, it made cringe so bad that it caused nearly anyone who read Beast Within to hate the story. Even I was embarrassed for such a monstrosity to exist. Hence, I decided to unpublish the story and was planning to rewrite Beast Within, at first. After dreading what outcomes I will receive, however, I deleted the story for good. You could say that I was traumatized from the negativity I received from the past readers.
Not only that, I also decided to never watch MHA ever again after what I experienced in Wattpad. I was only on the third season back then, but I never touched the series since for the past three years.
Unexpected Motivation and Return
Back in August of 2024, I went to an anime convention and met Stephanie Young, the dub voice actress of Nana Shimura from My Hero Academia. When I discovered that she also voiced Nu Wa from SMITE, I assumed that Stephanie liked SMITE, which gave me an idea of another SMITE crossover story that was similar to Teyvat's Path. She also made me want to go back watching MHA again.
However, rather than focusing on a multitude of characters, this MHA story will only focus on a single character from SMITE. In case none of you have noticed, that character is Jormungandr, the Midgard Serpent of Norse mythology. Not only do I believe he is one of the most badass gods in SMITE, but he is one of the most epic mythological creatures in all of mythology. In fact, he is my favorite god in the entire game of SMITE. Because of this, there won't be as much humor. Just badassery and a lot of seriousness.
As much as I want to explain more about this new SMITE crossover story, I don't want to give away too much. All of you can read the extra details seen in the story description for more. For now, the prologue will be the only thing that will be released. I won't be publishing anything else about this story. Not because I lost interest in the idea, but rather I need to recall what the story of MHA is about by watching the anime episodes. The plot may initially be crappy, but hopefully, it will get better soon.
Besides, the Year of the Snake is approaching next year, so that will be the appropriate time to work on the new story, The Serpent of Ragnarok!
