*Few Hours Ago*

After making our escape, we returned home and tried to figure out a plan. In the end, we concluded that we needed April to listen on the plans of the Foot and Shredder. Despite that being a success, we still unfortunately missed the full onslaught of their plans. With April kidnapped, it was only added to our plates. We made an concluded decision to take the Patrol Buggy and to not only rescue April but to also rescue our home. Which only came out as success.

*Present Time*
*Donnie's POV*

As me and Raphael take down the Foot, deflecting their attacks flawlessly, the door from the car slams open, smashing against one of the Purple Dragons clean in the face, as April slips from the vehicle. It was hard not to admire her, the firey ginger hair, and the confident demeanor she displays each and every day.
"Nice shot!"
I call out, a smile pulling at the corners of my lips.
"Nice wheels."
She replies, a smile that she reciprocates. Her compliment enough to make me weak in the knees.
"Oh uh I build it you know. But they're not ready yet."
As the sound of falling and clashing metal echoes behind us.
"Come on, we got to find the others!"
We hurry to find the rest of the group that are missing. Hurrying through the alleyways, we hear the sound of a loud explosion, as we feel the ground rumble more than we see it, remnants of the red paint in the midst of the smoke above the buildings.
"Let's go, they might be hurt!"
We hurry through the streets, and eventually we arrive at the epicenter of the explosion to see that the our other brothers are okay.

"Aww, we missed the fireworks?"
Raph asks, with a smile playing along his lips.
"Well done guys, the go carts work great Donnie."
"Thanks! They're Patrol Buggies."
I quickly correct his words. In the end though, we were ready to head home and rest.

*Back to Y/N*

I have been in the main room for several hours, and it was slowly getting late. Although, I wasn't quite ready to leave. I wanted to make sure that the brothers get home safely. Despite them being ninjas and incredibly skilled, it was still a constant fear of mine that what if they never come back. What if he never comes back. I shake my head from the creeping thoughts, trying to maintain a positive attitude. But I simply couldn't stop pacing. My legs were supposed to be tired, and yet I didn't feel any ache in my feet. I couldn't stop moving, my legs were probably screaming for me stop, but it's like my brain wasn't listening for an ounce of their begging. But soon the next second, I hear footsteps coming close, my heart bounces to the subtle sound as I rush towards the exit of the lair and greet the four turtles.
"You're back!"
Without realizing what I was doing, I wrap my arms around Donnie's neck pressing my body flush against his own. With a short moment of hesitation, he struggles to wrap them around me for a small instant. But eventually he does so. I'd be lying if I said I didn't like this. It felt great to be in his arms, to be wrapped ever so gently. But as quick I realized that had him in this embrace for a bit longer than necessary, I quickly let go.
"Heh, sorry. It's good to have you back."
"It's good to be back."
He smiles, a genuine, small but genuine smile.
We join the rest of the brothers in the living room, at least I would just for a little bit. Afterall it was getting late, and I need to get back home soon.

Mickey quickly jumps for the TV, turning it on switching for his favorite show for whatever it may be right now considering he jumps from one to another. While the rest of the brothers sit on the couch in their own separate spots, and I prefered a small little corner against the arm of the couch. As everyone was forced to watch Mickey's show, as he delves into it fully invested. I rest against the couch, my body melting into the cushions as the adrenaline and worry melts away as well. And with every passing minute as adrenaline continued to slip from my body, slumber and dreams were starting to creep within. Yawn after yawn, one after another, slumber was slowly taking over my body more, as I was slowly becoming it's victim. But with the small leftovers of rationality and logic, I peel myself from the cushions and stand up my balance not the best.
"You're going?"
Mickey notices my state, and me getting up. I wasn't sure how much strength I had left or if I had any to reply back to him, but I simply nod. For all I had left, I give a small nod in my answer.
"Are you sure you'll be okay to get home?"
Leo joins in, worry evident in his voice. His attention shifts from the TV, looking over my state and my body how I wobble across the floor looking like I'm drunk. I didn't have enough strength to hardly keep my eyes open let alone respond to Leo's question, as another yawn escapes past me.
"Donnie, take her home."

Without any resistance, he silently gets up wrapping a single arm around me guiding me from the lair and up above. And once we're on the street, I try to get my balance back in order but I continued to struggle. I simply wanted to collapse onto the ground and sink in. But before that could ever happen, Donnie scoops me up, and jumps onto several roofs to gain more height, as he moves with swift and agility to take me home. And eventually, he reaches my window, sneaking in and setting me into a nice soft pile of heavenly feathers. I was barely awake at this moment, as my mind was ready to surrender to an everlasting sleep. With a soft sleepy moan, I get comfortable into the sheets of my bed a soft smile creeping onto my lips. But just before I could fully envelope myself into the comforting grasp of slumber, I mutter a soft,
"Thank you."
With a soft chuckle bouncing off the walls, Donnie pulls the sheets over my body, and quickly leaves.
