I would just like to preface this by saying that this story deals with some heavy themes at times - although it's overall message and outlook are about finding a way to deal and cope with them, particularly through finding community in people who understand your struggles. It's first and foremost a story about healing and finding love, both romantically and for yourself, and as such, there are some themes which could be upsetting to some readers.
A lot of the strong themes are the same ones which already exist in films and tv series about the X-men, which you likely will have seen to be interested in my story. Having said this, as someone who deals with mental health issues, I always like to include content warnings.
