After Y/N had spilled the heart-wrenching story to her teacher, her body was visibly shaking from crying, her eyes beyond red and her lips quivering. Her teacher was fuming at what she was told, trying hard not to go to the principal and get the two girls expelled. The teacher hugged Y/N gently, patting her back as a way to comfort her.

"Oh honey, let it out." She whispered, letting her sweater get stained by tears.

"C-can you- Help me..?" Y/N whimpered through sniffles.

"Did you think I wasn't going to?"

She typed something quickly on her phone before shoving it into her front pocket. The teacher took Y/N's hand and stormed her way to the principal's office, squeezing her hand every so often to reassure her. Luckly, it wasn't near closing time, so the principle had to be in his office. When they arrived, the teacher knocked on the door rather aggressively, her hand grazing the door handle.

"Come in," A voice responded.

The teacher opened the door to find the principal busy with whatever he was doing on his laptop. He took in the state of the both of them and a worried look flashed upon his face.

"Ms. Lee, take a seat. And you too." He gestured to the seat opposite of him, both of them sitting down before Ms. Lee broke into rage.

"Principal Kang, you ought to be ashamed of yourself for letting this happen." Her eyes twitched.

"Let what happen? Tell me."

"You preach all day long about how this is an anti-bullying school, and yet you turn a blind eye when it happens?"

"I don't understand, did something happen?" The principal looked at Y/N, a slight disgusted expression on his face, but quickly shifted back to worried.

"Taehyun and his group keep harassing Y/N everyday!"

The principal's face darkened at her words, "Don't act crazy, woman. My son would never do such a thing."

Son?

Taehyun's his son?

Then the realisation hit her. Kang Taehyun, Principal Kang Seojin. Taehyun and the rest of the big 5 never got into trouble with the older teachers even when they broke the rules right in front of them. Yunho and the other people who got bullied were never taken seriously by the school councilors whenever they tried to stand up for themselves.

"Look at the state of her," Ms. Lee exclaimed, "She's unrecognisable!"

"That's enough."

The principal had a deep scowl plastered across his face, which quickly faded away and turned to a fake smile.

"You may leave, Ms. Lee." The principal shifted in his seat, "I'll talk to Y/N privately."

"But-"

"I said, you. May. Leave."

Ms. Lee huffed loudly before giving Y/N a sympathetic look and heading towards the door, deliberately moving as slow as possible to stay longer. The minute a soft click sound emitted from the door frame, principal Kang flashed a sinister smile, his chuckles going from soft and quiet to bashfully loud.

"All the popularity and connections caught up to you, huh?" He cackled.

"S-sorry?"

"I'm the reason you're not in jail right now," He drew his chair closer, leaning uncomfortably close to Y/N, "In fact, I could have you sent to juvenile right now."

Y/N's heart dropped to her stomach, "What?"

"You think I really wasn't aware of what you did?" He typed quickly on his laptop before turning his screen, "I had everything recorded."

Y/N eyes bulged open wide as the principal scrolled through the picture. Videos and videos on end of Y/N endlessly tormenting any person she sees. Screenshots of her telling people to kill themselves and endless insults. And a list of all the people she has bullied.

"You know what's funny?" He smiled maliciously, "Taehyun couldn't care less about you really, after you had rejected him. But poor Wooyoung, he begged me not to tell a soul about it. He should be thankful that his dad's a close friend of mine."

Y/N's blood froze at the mention of Wooyoung, their last interaction still leaving an empty gape in her stomach.

"I've heard of your little affair with my son," He continued, "You know, I'd never-"

"What do you want from me?" Y/N's voice cracked, barely holding back a sob.

Principal Kang leaned back in his chair, the malice in his expression softening into something more calculating. "Oh, it's simple." He said, before looking down onto her shirt, "I just need some.. alone time with you."

Y/N couldn't comprehend what he had said. No. No. No. Not again- No.

"Keep your head down, and I'll make sure this all stays.. Quiet." His smile widened. "You don't want everyone seeing these, do you? Your parents would be so disappointed."

Y/N felt her heart beat out of her chest before shaking her head numbly, her mind spinning. He had her trapped, and there was no easy way out. If she didn't comply, he could ruin her life, socially, academically, and even legally.

"Good girl," Principal Kang said, his tone patronizing. "Now, run along. And remember, one wrong move, and you'll be the one regretting it."

Y/N stood up, her legs shaky beneath her. She couldn't even look at him as she made her way to the door, her mind blank from the shock of it all. As she reached for the handle, his voice echoed behind her one last time.

"And Y/N," he said in a falsely sweet tone, "don't forget who's really in control here."

She left the office, her vision blurred by tears. Everything felt surreal. The weight of the past weeks, her crumbling reputation, the betrayal of her peers, and now this; pressed down on her like a boulder, making it hard to breathe.

As she walked through the empty hallways, her hands shaking uncontrollably, she felt more alone than she ever had before. No one would believe her if she told them what had just happened. Principal Kang had too much influence, too many connections.

Y/N's steps quickened, desperate to get away from the school, from everything. Ms. Lee must have gone home, because no matter where Y/N looked, there was no one. She was left there, hopeless, alone and disheveled; no one to rescue her.

"I deserve this," She thought to herself, before laughing hysterically and kneeling down of the ground of the pavement outside the school gates. Her laughter of madness turned into tears as her heartbeat rose to a cartoonish level, her breathing shallow and her throat dry as a desert.

Seconds and minutes after hours had passed, Y/N remained on the sidewalk, her eyes emotionless and her muscles tense. God, what her parents would do if they found out. It wasn't until a soft buzz emitted from her pocket, her phone pinging with messages from Yunho; all of the messages reading out one thing:

"Come over."
