You stood in the middle of a soft green, dewy patch of grass. The soles of your feet getting wet from the moisture. With a sigh you plopped down, accepting the fact your flimsy white dress would get wet.

Worth it. You shrugged and took out the paper and pen you had "stolen" from a boy you found coincidentally at the same park as you. Of course you hadn't really stolen it, only pulled him aside by the arm, looked up at him, and basically begged for it. He shoved it in your hands, face turned red, and ran away saying he was "robbed by a higher up." And "tricked, abused, and deceived by power play"

You weren't quite sure why he had called you a higher up, now that you thought back on it. You had apologized countless times, in your head. Not realizing how your actions might have been perceived as threatening. But you didn't know how things worked around here, where any shops were. And you really wanted to write.

A light stroke down on the paper, black ink appearing on the sheet. You had only got here yesterday. You think. Pretty, was your first thought. I want to go home, was your second.

You rested your head on your hand, humming whatever you wanted. You didn't remember any songs.

Lines and letters filled up the blank page. You didn't remember much from home. All you remembered was being terrified, cold and dark, and in excruciating pain, before you just, weren't, anymore.

"Excuse me, y/n?" A light voice startled you, the sheet ripping as the tip of the pen stabbed through, a big dark spot of ink spreading over the poem you had written. You watched the scene, a sense of unease crawling down your spine.

And then you blinked. Turning around you smiled at the girl in a bright white, beautiful robe. "Do you need help?"

She shook her head and bowed. "The Goddess wishes to see you." Her voice was calming, but your heart picked up speed. Why did a Goddess want to see you? Your brows drew in, confused.

"..Oh k-kay. Are you sure you have the right person?" You asked, panic washing over you. How would you act? What would you say? You didn't know the proper greetings or anything. They could think you are disrespectful.

Why were Goddesses here?

The girl nodded. "I'm sure." And then she gave you directions to what, you weren't sure, and then she left.

You left your soiled paper in the grass and followed the turns you had been told to. One of the places you had to go through, was a graveyard. You decided to walk around for a bit, but you knew what your true intentions were.

It was sunny. It had been sunny the entire time you were here, which could have only been an hour, you weren't sure. But the sun beat down on you and put you on edge.

All thoughts trailed off. Your breath was caught in your throat as you stood before the gray gravestone in front of you. It looked shiny, brand new, compared to all the rusty ones near it. You reached out and touched it, the stone cool against your palm. Your eyes drifted downwards.

Y/n L/n
1996 - 2011
"The light in everyone's life"

In front of the gravestone was a pile of dirt. You wanted to dig it up and see what was beneath the earth.

But your feet carried on, your head now awfully empty.

Eventually you got where you were told to go. It was a grand palace, with white and unbelievable decorations. You knocked, immediately taking on a bowed position.

"Y/n! Oh how I'm so glad to finally meet you!" The voice was so warm and so loving. You glanced up and almost fainted, knees buckling under you.

"Please don't be scared, I'm sorry this must be so shocking." Aphrodite lightly graced your arm, helping you keep your balance.
