Geno kindly let Mia and the dancers share the gym sense the room that they were originally in is getting worked on. Mia was very grateful and promised to stay out of the way. Luckily, the WBB team didn't start until an hour after the dancers.

"Mia, for this part we should do this instead." Chyna suggested as she showed the brownskin. Mia analyzed it and asked her to do it one more time. It wasn't bad, Mia caught on and decided to do the whole dance including Chyna's part. "Ok! From the top!"

Mia thought she heard footsteps but the music was too loud. As the girls finished the dance, Paige, Nika, Kk, Ice, Azzi, and Aaliyah walked in, looking at the dancers. Mia stopped the music and looked back at her team. "Okay, take 5. we're gonna add some new things and maybe switch some stuff up." Everyone nodded and clapped twice, a little chant that they have.

Mia didn't notice the basketball players until she turned back around. "Oh! Hey guys. what time is it?" She looked at her phone, 2:36. "We decided to come early, see what you were up to." Paige speaks, a big smile on her face staring at the girl.

"Um, she wanted to see what you were up to, I actually wanna get a few shots in." Kk spoke as she put her hands on her hips. Paige smacked her roughly on the arm. Kk, being dramatic, screeched loudly. Mia just chuckled, drinking some of her water. "You look really good in those shorts, M." Nika commented.

Mia blushed, she pushed Nika's shoulder softly. "Stawp it, you're making me blush." Paige gave Nika the meanest glare she could muster. Nika smirked, she loved getting Paige heated and Paige knew that Nika loved getting her heated so she got something for the brunette when practice starts.

"OKAY! You guys have a good practice, I'll see you later?" Mia spoke as she set her water down. "Yea, you too!" Azzi spoke as she gave the shorter girl a hug. "You stinky." She commented, Mia smacked the back of Azzi's thigh, knowing it'll hurt her. "No shit, princess." Azzi grimaced as she rubbed her thigh, a slight glare on her face.

Mia looked over at Paige to still see her looking. They held eye contact, a smile on both girl faces. Mia phone vibrated, making her look down.

z : how's practice?

Mia slightly smiled, a still bit annoyed from earlier. That's when Paige knew it was Zoe who had texted her. Her smile dropped, taking a big sigh and looked over to Ice who had put her hand on her shoulder.

"It'll be okay, p." Paige just nodded her head and walked over to her girls, she's not gonna let this ruin her practice, oh no.

"I can definitely beat that dumb blondie in a 1v1." Mia could hear Zoe when she walked through the door. Blondie? Is she talking about Paige?

"who are you talking about?" Mia asked as she sat down next to her. Zoe looked from her friend and to Mia, a smirk on her face. "Paige mother fucking Bueckers." Mia started laughing. Zoe and her buddies looked at her confused.

"you? beat paige? in a 1v1? at basketball? basketball? not fortnite?" Zoe scoffed and rolled her eyes. "Some faith you have in me." Mia just chuckled, "you shouldn't need it if you're so confidently certain you can 'beat' her."

Zoe just waved her off, "whatever. Paige isn't that good anyway." Mia gave her a stank face, 'not that good my ass' Mia was done with Zoe make believe story tale and got up. "I'm gonna head home." Zoe looked up, "why?" she asked.

"Because I wanna take a bath.. can I do that?" Mia asked sarcastically, a bored look on her face. "You can take a bath here?" Zoe replied. "Zo, I don't have any clothes here. I'll see you later." Zoe just shook her head and went back to her friends.
