Part 14 : A Turn of Events🌪️

At Night......

Sky was too excited to meet his parents that he can't sleep but rolling on bed like a maniac "oh my gosh!, oh my gosh!, oh my gosh!..my parents are coming tomorrow!!" he shouts and getting happy

rain put a pillow on his head and whined "skyyyy...calm down..i am trying to sleep!!", sky giggled and says "but i can't!!..finally i am meeting my parents!!..i never thought that i will meet my parents!..gosh..i will hug them tightly!!"

rain shook his head and says "i know but you need to rest now naa", but sjy shook his head and says "nope now i am going to p'pai i will tell him this happy news too i know he know..but still!!!"

saying that sky rushed to prapai's room, eager to share his excitement about their parents return but as he burst through the door, his smile faltered before him, prapai and james were lost in a romantic moment, their lips locked in a tender kiss prapai whispered sweet nothings to james, who gazed at him with adoration..

sky's eyes widened, and his heart sank he felt a pang of jealousy, mixed with a dash of sadness..he knew prapai and james were meant to be, that they were getting married soon, but seeing them like this...it stung he wanted to be happy for his brother and prapai, but his heart wouldn't cooperate

His mind raced, trying to process his emotions why did he feel this way? he knew he should be thrilled to see james and prapai in love, but the sight before him only made him feel left out, he felt like he was losing his someone who is his own but he don't know why

As he stood there, frozen in the doorway, sky realized that his excitement about their parents return had been eclipsed by his own insecurities he wanted to be happy for james and prapai, but his jealousy and sadness wouldn't let him with a heavy heart, sky slowly backed out of the room, leaving the loving couple to their intimate moment...

He start walking in corridor with upset face but suddenly net's voice broke the silence as sky walked down the corridor lost in thought "Sky? what are you doing here so late?" sky looked up startled and shook his head. "i'm fine..p'net..just couldn't sleep" but net's keen eyes saw right through him he could tell Sky was upset..

Without a word, net took sky's arm and led him to the kitchen they sat down at the dining table and net asked again "What happened? You can tell me anything " Sky hesitated unsure if he should share his feelings but net's gentle prodding put him at ease

"i saw p'pai and p'james...kissing" Sky said finally, his voice barely above a whisper "i know i don't have feelings for p'pai p'net...i'm happy p'names and p'pai are getting married they're perfect for each other" He paused, searching for words "But seeing them together...it feels like i'm losing someone like p'pai is slipping away from me..even i feel like p'pai didn't love p'james..but because of something he is doing this.."

Net smiled knowingly, but said nothing about sky's memories starting to return and he still have feelings for prapai " i don't get it p'net..i should be happy for them, but...i don't know it feels like something is wrong like i'm being left behind" sky's voice trailed off, his confusion evident, net nodded thoughtfully, his eyes sparkling with understanding

"my little brother sometimes our emotions don't make sense but that doesn't mean they're not valid...maybe you're feeling left out because you're used to being close to prapai..maybe you're worried that his marriage will change things between you two..or there is something you don't know" net's words struck a chord, but sky still looked uncertain..

"i guess you're right..p'net..i just need to figure out why i'm feeling this way" sky says and net smiled and put a reassuring hand on sky's shoulder. "you will, little brother and when you do, everything will make sense..and everything will be alright.."
