Kings Landing:
Three days after Princess Maeleys left, King Daeron's condition had gotten worse. Lady Cyrelle Lancaster kept a close eye on the King. Reading him stories and fairy tales to take his attention off of the pain he was bounded too. Prince Jaehaerys, however, did not care about this father's condition. To him, it was a good thing his father was getting worse. The worse he got, the closer he was to claim the Iron Throne and steal it from his sister.
No matter how many suppers or get together's they were going to have, Jaehaerys hated and lusted his sister. His sister, Maeleys, was formidable. How could he best her? He couldn't... the only way was to start war and break her.
If only he knew the consequences it would take.

*Cyrelle POV*
Cold.
Have you ever felt like that? No... not an "air" type of cold. Like a chill in the air, telling you that something was going to happen. After Maeleys left, I felt that. It goes up my spine constantly. Even when I read to the King.
As I looked over to the king, I noticed he was whispering something....
"Aelora... Aelora... wait for me." He would say... every second. It was eerie to say the least.
"Your Grace... is there something I can get you? "I questioned. he stayed silent, just repeating his last wife's name.
"Maybe some water will do the trick...?" I said, leaving the room.
I run down, grabbing a cup of water for the king. As I go back upstairs, the water in the cup seemed to shift. Something in me told me that something wasn't right.
I ran up the stairs, the water splashing everywhere. As I entered his bed chambers. His body... lifeless.

King Daeron was born on 100 BC, three years before King Jaehaerys the Conciliator died. King Daeron lived a full life. He was married, had two children in total. During his years he served the realm the best he could. His death was caused by iron poisoning from the Iron Throne. King Daeron died at 163 BC at only 63-years-old.

The news of the Kings Death ranged through the castle. It soon reached Jaehaerys. He called a council meeting and invited me and Aegal to it. And so, we went.
"Welcome Cyrelle... come sit by me." He spoke
I walked to the nearest chair that was sitting by him, as I took my sit, my son Aegal sat across from me.
"My father is dead. Which means we need a new ruler." He said,
"Yes, Princess Maeleys." Lord Strong stated.
Jaehaerys titled his head, snickering, "Maeleys? Are you a fucking idiot?" He questioned, "No we will not be going to Maeleys."
"But The King said Princess Maeleys should be his heir. We all took an oath."
"You took an oath. I did not." Jaehaerys stated, "My sister, however formidable she is, she is weak. No woman has ever taken the throne, and it won't start happening now."
The Lords started to look at each other with doubt and confusion, until one of them spoke up, "My Prince... then who should take the throne?" Lord Maylen Lannister questioned.
Jaehaerys stood from his chair, "Me." He replied.
"That cannot happen." Lord Castulen Darklyn stated, "The King-"
"My FATHER... is no longer king, Darklyn." Jaehaerys shouted, "Can dead men make requests let alone speak?" He questioned.
Everyone stayed silent, "I didn't think so."
"My Prince... if you were to pursue this, this will start war. Maybe an un-ending war." Lord Maylen said
"So?" Jaehaerys replied.
"So???" Lord Maylen mocked, "So, it will bring hell down upon us. We are NOT in the position to fight in a war."
"Then we'll make the funds."
"As if." Lord Darklyn said under his breathe.
"If you say another word Darklyn, you and your house will no longer exist."
Darklyn looked up in terror, he nodded his head.
"Are we all in agreeance? That I shall be crowned king?" He questioned.
Every man in that room stood from their chairs, bowing to my husband, Jaehaerys, including Aegal his now heir.
"Good. Let it be known that I, Jaehaerys, Second of His Name, will be crowned King. And my dear wife will be my queen."

The Knights of the Kingsguard gathered all the small folk to witness Jaehaerys crowning. Everyone was confused. They did not know King Daeron had now passed, but they learned very quickly what was taking place. Treason.
The small folk then started to quiet down; they saw Prince Jaehaerys walking through the crowd. Swords bowing to him. He walked through the crowd, head held high, as if it was his destiny. As if he was born for this.
Truth be told, he wasn't. There was a reason why his father skipped over him. They will soon learn that reason.
Jaehaerys made his way up to the crowning pit. He saw all his children, including his dear wife, Cyrelle. He turned his head to Cyrelle's family, including her father, Lord Orlon Lancaster, Lord of The Hill of Lancaster.
"King Jaehaerys, Second of his Name, King of the Andals, The Rhoynar, The First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, and Protector of the Realm!" Lord Orlon shouted.
The crowd of people start to whisper right in front of them, Lord Orlan grabbed the crown that was worn by King Daeron and sat it on top of King Jaehaerys's head.
As Jaehaerys turned to the people, he thought they would be happy to have a strong, powerful man on the throne and yet again he thought wrong.
"LONG LIVE QUEEN MAELEYS!" A voice shouted.
"YES! LONG LIVE THE RIGHTFUL QUEEN!" Another shouted.
"LONG LIVE QUEEN MAELEYS, THE RIDER OF CANNIBLE, THE SLAYER OF AEGOR THE MONSTROUS, FIRST OF HER NAME, QUEEN OF THE ANDALS, THE RHOYNAR, THE FIRST MEN, LADY OF THE SEVEN KINGSDOM, AND OUR PROTECTOR!"
Everyone in the crowd started to chant her name... Maeleys's name. It pissed Jaehaerys off. HE was King, not his pathetic sister.
This was only the beginning.
