POV: Stryker

I was in the Training Area getting instruction from Instructor Whislash, well more like she was dueling me. We clashed multiple times. Her whips sword was no joke. She continued to push me back.

"Dont forget, the one on the Attack has the advantages!" She said while still attacking me. I then tried to go on the attack myself but quickly lost my sword as her whip sword swung around it and pulled it from my hands before pointing her sword at me. "Still this isnt a guarantee. Even if you're attacking you can still make a mistake and create an opening."

She patted my shoulder before continuing. "There is a balance between having the attack advantage and keeping yourself from making mistakes. People are waiting for an opening." She explained.

"That sounds a bit contradicting at first, Instructor." I said to her not quite understanding everything yet.

"Dont worry. You'll see it in the future....let me explain again. Like you know being on the attack means you can injure the enemy while they are not able to touch you, But.....the second you make a mistake they will immediately jump the chance. Let me give you an example.....You have already been on a few missions right?"

"Yeah....but only has a Sniper with my Crossbow." I answered.

"Many thugs are not military trained. They will just swing making them the attacker. But with the wide swing they give you the defender a chance to strike below and defeat them easily."

"But what if there are no such openings?"

"Then you have to be the better fighter or create an opening. But this will be it for today. Take a shower and get yourself something to eat the same with you lot!" With this everyone let out a sigh of relief before leaving. I also excused myself but not before she asked me a question.

"Ah! Wait a moment I have a question Stryker." I turned around to look at her. "I heard that you were knowledgable about Fire Arms but you cant use Arts? Why is that?"

I tensed up at this and she saw it.

POV: Whishlash

After I asked that question I could see him tense up a bit. Dobermann said I shouldnt ask but my curiousity was to much......maybe I shouldnt have as I see his face.

"I-I....Lets just say some things happened. War doesnt have any connection to glory, it doesnt help anyone." He said to me before leaving. I was.....baffled. In his files it talked about wounds from bullets or explosions. In which warzone did he fight to only get injured from bullets?
Dobermann did say he had Military training but what country?
*sigh*

I decided to also go eat while thinking about this. When I got there I also saw Dobermann and Dur-Nar eating. So of course I sat myself to them.

"Dobermann you were right Operator Stryker is interesting, less weird and more interesting. A good change from the weird people here."

Dur-Nar hearing this also joined the Conversation. "Oh did you ask him about the gun thing?"

"Yes exactly, He....he tensed up. Saying some things happened and that glory has nothing to do with war and that it doesnt help anyone."

Dobermann: "There are many people like that but his situation is still different."

"I agree. His tactical way of doings things is different from other people on the Battlefield. I had a few missions with him. He seemed to have been a scout and is good in City environments. Dur-Nur explained.

I let out a sigh. I looked around for a second before quickly spotting him sitting with some people. "...Lets leave it for now. We cant just talk about him all day. What are we a fan club?" I joked from which I got a small chuckle from Dur-Nar while Dobermann ignored it all together. But I noticed she also spotted him. Why is she interested in his backstory?
