My eyes were fixed on my dad and i felt at loss of words and action , what could possibly go worse ? He just discovered my secret and on top of all that, he found out i sneaked out to go to a coffee shop that is forbidden .

He without taking his eyes off of me dismissed the two guards that were next to him and approached me , i didn't even dare to look up at him . because if i did he would certainly do something bad

«  Is there an explanation to this before i do something i might regret ?" He yelled at me in the small alley , his voice echoed through my head and i suddenly felt suffocated by the narrowness of the alley .

He stomped towards me and raised his hand , i was ready to just take it and move on because in his eyes right now i was the traitor and rebellious daughter who sneaks out without her parent's consent .

I opened my eyes to see why i haven't felt anything but i saw his face hesitating to do anything , he looked at me like he was going to explode right infront of me in anger .

" I won't speak to you know , go home and wait for me . I am on duty now and I promise i will make you regret the day you decided to go behind my back" My dad yelled at me and pointed at the alley infront of me , i could only nod careful not to trigger his anger more .

I took few steps away and walked away , i looked behind me and saw Julian being dragged by some janissaries . I felt sorry for him but i couldn't do anything, i was now in the hands of my father and i myself didn't guarantee myself anything.

I walked for a long time but it didn't even feel long because my mind was racing thinking about what would happen to me later , i remembered my father's gaze and couldn't help but think of the worst things .

I knocked on the door and one of the servants opened it looking at me confused , i ignored her and stepped inside . I was not ready for my mother's questions which i knew she would ask based on her current state

She was racing around the living room until she saw me , she walked towards me shocked " How did you get out of your room ? do you think i won't notice ?" I didn't want to answer her so walked past her and went upstairs .

"I am talking to you" she yelled at me as i walked away but i didn't bother to stop , i closed my door behind me and sat on my bed , i took of the cape i had around me and tossed it on floor in frustration .

I knew that once my dad steps inside this house , my life would not be the same again . He is all about traditions and mostly his position , he doesn't want his reputation to be ruined because of us .

I didn't know what punishment i would get and what will happen to me , i stayed silent holding my head with both hands while glancing at the floor . I thought about running away but where would i even go where to ? i was not some ordinary girl and they would find me in less than a day so i eliminated that idea from my head .

Some moments passed by and i started to hear loud footsteps coming from inside the house, my door suddenly swung open revealing my father followed by mother who based on her face found out about what happened .

" Tell me what were you doing with that man alone huh ?" my father yelled at me making me stand up in fear , i couldn't find the proper words to explain or defend myself .

" I promise i was going to tell you , i didn't excpect you to find out like this im sorry" he listened to me but just straight up laughed  in frustration .

" I can't believe what you have done , do you realise what people will know say about this huh ? don't you have shame ?"  my mother looked angrier than my father and i knew the reason behind her anger .

" No one saw , unless your sneaky daughter told something to others" my father proceeded to answer and my eyes traveled between them , waiting for the floor to split in half and swallow me .

" I don't know what to do with you" my father put his hand on his forehead and turned around . " Be glad that no one knows about it because believe me the outcome would've been so much different" he threatened and put his hand on the door knob .

"What happened to Julian ?" i gathered all of my courage to ask but i had to ask him . He shoot me a deadly glare and didn't answer my question , my mother eyed me up and down and shook her head .

"Lock her up , and don't let her see anyone and the window is going to be sealed" he pointed at my window who was still open, i knew that from now on my life was going to be hell .

" This will give you a lesson , and if you don't behave i will get you married to the first person that knocks on this door" My mother's eyes opened wide , wide enough to realise that her fear could come true at any moment .

My father left and slammed the door hard on my face leaving me with my mom , she put her fingers on the bridge of her nose while closing her eyes in disbelief .

« What have you been doing ? » she sat on my bed and looked up at me disappointed « You will end this disgrace or that beloved lover of yours will take his last breath » I shoot my eyes open upon hearing her statement .

«  I will do something to myself if you dare to do this , and how do you want me to meet him when you've locked me up here like an animal ? » I raised my voice making her stand up furiously «  Watch your tone » she scolded .

«  I am going to Kosem sultan right now and i will tell her that you have accepted the proposal » She turned around and tried to head for the door but i stopped her .

«  What are you saying ? don't you do this » I grabbed her arm but she pushed mine away . « After what you've done ,do you think you deserve to have a say in this ? » She didn't leave me a room for an answer and left my room locking it behind me .

I kicked the door with my leg and yelled in frustration and anger , I felt like i was about to go crazy . nothing was going right for me , i lost my relationship with my parents and with Julian and now myself .

I didn't know how serious my mother was but i would rather die than get married to the sultan , especially in these circumstances.

My head was pounding and i only got angrier when they sent a maid to shut my window and seal it , i looked at the opened the door and wanted to run away but that idea was long dead in my mind .

« Did my mother leave ? » i asked the maid who was doing her work in my room and she turned around her head before nodding « Yes Ma'am » she simply answered as if they threatened her not to speak to me .

I laid flat on my back and stared at the ceiling feeling overwhelmed and stressed out , i didn't know what would happen to me from now on but one thing i wanted was to make sure Julian was fine and that my father was not serious about the idea of killing him
