The sun is about to rise, and the sky has a red, orange, and yellow hue. Cleo slowly opened the window and took a snapshot of the beautiful scenery. She loves taking pictures of nature, most specifically, the sunrise view.

She must hurry up and wake her son. She puts her phone on the table and closes the window.

She at once went to the kitchen to prepare the breakfast. She emptied the fridge, grabbed eggs, butter, and milk, opened the cupboard, and got a mixing bowl, a whisk, and a carton of pancake mix. She unloaded the drawer and got the measuring cups and spoons. She unfurled and measured three cups of pancake mix and put it in the mixing bowl. Next, she put two cups of milk and oil on it and mixed them all. She twisted the knob of her electric stove top, put a frying pan on it, and griddled the pan with some butter. She put some mixture into the pan, and as soon as the bubbles appeared on it, she flipped it, pressed it to cook evenly, and put the cooked pancake on a plate. She boiled some eggs and pan-fried sausages as well.

She set up the table and put all the cooked food on it.

She went to her son's bedroom, opened the lights, and turned off the AC. Harry slowly opened his eyes and stretched his arms.

"Mom, can you please turn off the lights? It is too bright," said Harry.

"Oh, come on, Harry, you need to hurry. It is already 6 a.m., and your school bus will arrive at 7," she said as she grabbed the towel and tossed it to her son.

"Stand up now, go to the bathroom, brush your teeth, take a bath, put on your school uniform, and then eat breakfast," Cleo said.

Harry heard the school bus's loud honk. "Mom, I will go now. I love you," said Harry while opening the front door. "Okay, son, you take care. I love you," Cleo replied.

She ate her breakfast, fixed the table, washed the dishes, did the laundry, and went to the bathroom to clean.

While scrubbing the floor, Cleo accidentally slipped on a soap bar, and her head hit the floor.

Cleo lost consciousness.

Her husband heard a loud bang and woke up because of it. He immediately went downstairs and saw his wife unconscious. He grabbed her, put her in the car, and drove fast to the hospital.

When they arrived at the hospital, he opened the car's door and yelled, "Help, my wife....."

The hospital staff attends to her at once. They put her on a stretcher and checked her vitals. She had no pulse, so they administered resuscitation and revived her. They did several tests and brought her to the operating room as she needed to undergo an operation for her head injury.

The operation was successful but left her on life support and in a coma.

All the family members arrived, including Cleo's mother.

Her husband went home to get things for her.

At home, he went into the guest room, where her wife usually writes her children's books in her spare time. He opened her laptop and cried while reading all her works. He stumbled upon an intriguing title and read it. It is her diary.

He closed the laptop, put it in the bag filled with her other things, and returned to the hospital. He sanitized it, put on a lab gown, a hair net, and a mask, and went inside the ICU room.

"Hi, Cleo. You better wake up now, or else," said Crimson, holding her left hand tightly.

"Anyway, while you are dreaming there, I will read your diary for you," he added.

"Let's start with your puppy love," and he began to read aloud.
