Chapter 17

The past three weeks Dean had spent with his brother Sam as their dad however kept a very close eye on Dean , not allowing him to go out unless it was really necessary but mainly it was to keep him from that girl he had spent most of his time with

John went over some of his ongoing cases as the boys were watching some tv and well anything els they could manage to occupy themselves with for the time beign

Dean however was getting absolutely sick and tired of looking at the same four walls day in and day out but he knew he couldn't leave even just for an hour since his dad was watching him like a hawk

Pansy and Dean still exchanged phone calls every night over the past three weeks...

One late afternoon Pansy was sitting at the dinner table with her parents when suddenly the sound of the house pbone rang , echoing throughout the house

" ill get it " Pansy said  eager to get up from the quiet table as she answered the phone and answered as politely as she possibly could " hello "

" good afternoon i apologize for the late call im looking for a miss Pansy Parkinson " the voice on the other end of the phone said

" yes....this is she "

" excellent .... You're speaking with the assistant of Ninette de Valois...i do believe you know the name yes"

" yes...yes of course , she's the most famous ballet mentor this country has ever known.....pardon my confusion but why are you calling me " she asked her tone existed laced with a hint of confusion

" She's seen and heard much about your passion for dancing and she would like you to be our lead for Giselle at our opening concert this year"

" oh my goodness ...i can't believe it"

" are you interested miss Parkinson"

" yes id be honored " she said struggling to hold back her excitement

The call came to an end after a few minutes and Pansy had the biggest smile on her face when she returned to the dinner table , her body trembling with excitement as she told her parents the news , her mother seemed to be even happier then she was at this prefound opportunity that was given to her and her father was proud .... Pansy was so excited that she decided to call Dean to tell him about it after dinner

after dinner she couldn't get to her room fast enough , she spun the pink rotary phone sitting on her bedside table...she waited patiently for Dean to answer and when he did she found herself almost unable to stay quiet as she told him the news

The next morning after she had eaten breakfast she headed down to the ballet studio excited to finally be working with others instead of herself and her reflection in the mirrors , she got to meet Ninette de Valois and it was like her dreams had come true....she was assigned a male partner for the lead as Giselle who went by the name of Brent , they practiced together and got to learn how to fall into line with one another , after a long and hard day of non-stop practice they received four tickets to give away for the show with the date and address

When she arrived home she handed each of her parents a ticket and decided to go take a shower , her muscles were screaming at her as she felt them burn with each movement she made

after her relaxing shower she called Dean like she did every night and invited him to the show along with Sam so he wouldn't have to be left home alone..she knew it probably wasn't his kinda thing but having him there to support her made her stomach flutter

The day finally arrived and she could finally say she felt sick as her nerves were all over the place getting the better of her , she tied her hair up into a neat bun taking a breath as she looked into the mirror , her corset around her waist was tied to the point where she felt like she could barely breath but she figured it was her nerves more so then the corset Itself , she then slipped on her dancing slippers and finally she was all set

Soon the theatre was filled with people , every seat taken and the lights dimmed

" you ready to do this " Brent asked trying to hide just how nervous he was too

" ready as ill ever be " she replied trying to remain calm as she felt her heart thumping loudly in her chest

They all took their positions and the curtains were drawn as the music began to play , one tip toe after another they danced , their movements smooth and perfect , Brent's hand slid smoothly over Pansy's waist as her leg hovered in mid air during a twirl before Brent lifted her up with ease as they danced to their roles

Pansy spotted Dean in the audience with his brother Sam and she felt a sense of pride knowing he was there for her but she reminded herself that she needed to focus on her performance with Brent

The show ended as Brent slowly lowered her to her feet like a swan lake movie and the curtains closed as the audience cheered and clapped , indicating that their performance was Indeed good

" we did it " Brent said slightly panting as he hugged Pansy

" it was amazing " she chuckled and hugged him back
