Lizzy's dad's bad childhood past

there's this deleted scene where Lizzy's dad is seen as
a child when he was her age and i'm thinking about things

he was seen in the meadow all happy and stuff, he draw a fairy
and played with the animals untill he saw something and the
fairy appeared so he ran after that fairy and stumpled into a
tree where the fairy was trying to hide from him, he used to
be just like Lizzy

he then ran to get the camera and told his best friend a
secret but the whole neighbours knows about him seeing
a fairy to take a closer look at it but things got out of hand
because there were fairy hunters who was all into killing
a fairy that was in the tree and it worked

no one believed in him, he got fooled when he was being
told by (probably) his father fairies don't exist and so he
ends up being sad the fairy got killed by fairy hunters and
so he became the person we know from the movie when
he grew older in "The Great Fairy Rescue"

it's seen in the movie he doesn't like creatures with wings
seeing how he pinned them up in display cases and capturing
an another one untill its saved by Tinkerbell and to be exact
it's all butterflies he likes to get killed once he captures it

but once he saw a fairy, maybe he wanted to show it to
everybody for prove he have captured the real fairy

he may have some sort of flashbacks when he saw Tinkerbell
who bursted out of anger, you can see it on his face he was
really scared before he was about to capture Tinkerbell, seeing
that scene now makes me think of this deleted scene he finally
wanted to proof everybody he has saw a real fairy

it makes sense in a way why he wanted what's best for Lizzy
but he shouldn't be so insensitive and uncaring, i mean he
didn't listened to Lizzy the whole movie untill at near the end
of the movie

i think the fairy have died in a fire in this deleted scene, it looked
like the minister of summer to me, no wonder the rules were
created after that for that reason, saying 1 negative thing towards
a fairy and the light will slowly go out and dying out of disbelief
(i've saw both Peter Pan movies so i know how it goes)

i understand Lizzy's dad got fooled by his family saying fairies
aren't real but still, he should've listened to Lizzy and not telling
Lizzy fairies aren't real like his family have taught him, SHE'S 9
FOR SAYING OUT LOUD, LET HER HAVE HER FANTASY AND BE A
CHILD!

maybe it's simply his bad ways of coping with how he went through
as a kid when he was Lizzy's age, capturing butterflies is probably
his ways of distracting what he went through

this part of the theory is mainly based on Lizzy's dad but i can
share the fairy side of the story why the rules were created after
the bad event have happened it killed a fairy in a fire by fairy
hunters way before Tinkerbell was born
