Scarlett's Perspective

The 4th of July was always a special occasion in Hilson, and this year, Ethan and I decided to celebrate together. We spent the day exploring the city's festivities, but as evening approached, we decided to head up to the rooftop of his apartment building to watch the fireworks.

The rooftop was an ideal spot, offering a panoramic view of the city skyline. We set up a small picnic with snacks and drinks, and the anticipation of the fireworks created a magical atmosphere.

As the sky darkened, the first bursts of fireworks began to light up the night. The colors danced across the sky, reflecting in Ethan's eyes as we sat side by side. The air was filled with the distant sounds of celebration, and the moment felt perfect.

"This is amazing," I said, glancing at Ethan. "The fireworks are beautiful."

Ethan turned to me, his face illuminated by the fireworks. "It really is. I'm glad we're sharing this."

In that moment, as the fireworks painted the sky in brilliant hues, I felt an overwhelming surge of emotions. The beauty of the night and Ethan's presence created an atmosphere of intimacy and magic. I realized that my feelings for Ethan had grown beyond friendship, and I couldn't ignore them any longer.
