Janja

I  sighed as I was wondering through the patch of the  PrideLands I was permitted to hunt by Simba and froze as I caught the scent of  Kion and an unfamiliar lioness. I frowned as I cautiously followed the scent and  saw Kion  cowering in front of a leering lioness and heard him say my father won't like that. I frowned as she scoffed and said by the time daddy hears your pathetic screaming, you'll already be dead. I frowned and determined, launched myself at her throat from the side and  latched on and growled through clenched teeth  run prince, and go get your father. I  smiled as he nodded and took off running. I frowned as I was tossed off and  growled as I attacked from the rear and smiled as she roared in pain and furry. I blushed as she got me pinned and panicked until I heard The Kings. Ferociously angry roar and swallowed as he threw Zira off me and chased her off. I blushed as  Kion came over and said, "You OK?" I blushed and said yeah  thanks to you another minute, and I'd be a gonner. I smiled as he froze, seeing the gashes from where Zira had wounded me and said you need healing. I frowned and said it's OK. I'm used to being injured. I frowned as I heard the kings voice say in an aggravated and slightly vicious tone. Why didn't you call me? I blushed and said I only attacked to protect the prince highness. I swear I meant no harm. I blushed as he looked to his son who croched down and said it's true I was out exploring and she caught me unprepared if Janja hadn't taken it upon himself to defend me I wouldn't have lived to  get you. I blushed as he  nodded and looked at me and said  be that as it may it was an extremely foolish thing to do  the next time I advise you to either come get me or draw as much attention as possible eventually word will reach my ears. I nodded and said yes my king, now with your permission. I really should see to my injury and make sure it doesn't get infected. I  froze, panicking as he chuckled and picked me up by the scruff walking away from the familiar turrf I had become accustomed to. I frowned as he  dropped me gently at the base of a tree and  called  out  Rafiki. You are needed. I blushed as an old and wise looking baboon landed in front of me and shivered as he treated my wounds and said  you should rest here for now young hyena  it is unwise for you to wander in your condition. I nodded and said thank you. He nodded and said, "As for you, prince, I'd have expected more rational behavior on your part. I frowned as he looked embarrassed and crouched to the ground. I froze as the king growled and said, "What do you mean more rational? I froze as Kion blushed and said I wasn't exploring I went looking for Janja and when I saw  Zira I challenged her being in the PrideLands and well if Janja hadn't shown up I'd be in her digestive tract in about a million pieces. I froze as Simba was clearly restraining his temper and said Kion your grounded. You are not to leave Pride Rock until you realize just how stupid it was to challenge a full grown lioness. I frowned and said, "Your majesty if I might be so bold, but perhaps I could train Kion to make better judgment teach him how to  protect himself and even act as a guard of sorts? I frowned as the King considered my suggestion and said, "What proof have I got you can be trusted with such a task? I blushed and said Forgive me for speaking out of turn and being rash  but I have been on my own for over a year now  I have had to  fight for my very survival day in and out I have given much to stay alive and have suffered more than I've given. I would gladly give my life for the prince, and should he ask it far more. I froze as the king frowned deep in thought and  blushed as Kion  said I think he deserves a chance  father what is there to lose if he becomes my guard and something happens he can stall long enough for me to get  Zazu and the lioness. I frowned as the King nodded and said  yes I  agree, but be warned should something happen and you fail to get me the punishment for your failure will be sever. I nodded and said, "Of course you're highness. I blushed and said, "Perhaps  Kion would like to have a lesson now? I frowned as Rafiki said you are in no condition for a training session. I frowned and said that wasn't what I had in mind. I blushed and looked down and said I was hoping perhaps he'd accompany me on a hunt as I am incredibly hungry, and as you can surmise, thanks to Zira I am in no condition to hunt alone. I shifted as the king dropped dinner in front of me and said, "Eat you will not be hunting until Rafiki gives the all clear."
