"Ohh now I get it. You think we're the problem." Her voice came out rough as she spoke, laughter spilling from her lips. "How cute. I'm going to love watching your face as you realize you're wrong."
With her grip still loose on the weapon, he took the opportunity to hit the gun out of her hand. The sound of it skittering across the floor, nearly echoed in the large room. He flipped them over pinning her beneath him, his knees right on either side of her hips. His legs bent so his shins and feet were pressing on the tops of her thighs while one hand latched onto her throat, the other pressing her shoulder into the floor. She growled, her fangs bared beneath the mask.
"Being the government's bitch, I would've expected you to prefer the bottom."
Voice strained due to the pressure on her throat, she glared up at him. Moving quickly, she pressed her hips up against his, pushing him off the ground and off-balance, using her hands to grab his wrists and push him to the side. She kept a tight grip on one of his wrists, forcing him down on his belly, and she pinned his hand behind him, one knee on the ground beside his hip, while the other was digging into his lower back, the rest of her leg pressed against his ass as she kept all of her weight on him. Leaning down, her lips right next to his ear, she spoke softly with amusement in her voice.
"I was right, you do look much better as a bottom. Certainly have the ass for it." The smirk on her face quickly fell as she heard others quickly approaching. "Sounds like playtime is over. Better luck next time, sweetheart."
With that, she quickly pushed off and away from him, back on her feet and running within seconds. Others did start storming in, cutting off her nearest escape route. One in particular was a very muscular male. Like his buddy, he had on a mask and a collar with no scent coming off of him, clearly just another government tool.
She knew she'd have to take him down quickly. He would outmatch her in strength, so she needed to outmatch him in speed. Before he could even advance on her, she twisted her body and shot her right leg out and around behind her into his chest, and before that foot even touched back down on the ground, the other shot out as her body once again twisted around, nailing him in the face. It was a flawlessly executed double reverse hook kick that immediately sent him crashing into the ground. Without even having to check, she could already tell he was out cold, so she kept moving, knowing the others would be on her tail shortly. As if proving her own thoughts right, a snarl came from her side as a blonde man came barreling at her with rage in is eyes.
"What did you do to him?!"
She ducked under the wild punch that was thrown her way, sending a jab into his side before connecting her other fist with the underside of his jaw, sending him reeling back against the wall. She grabbed his face with his chin between her fingers, her other hand pinning his wrist to the wall beside his head.
"Sorry about your boyfriend." She smiled behind the mask as she was met with the flash of a pretty shade of lilac, a common color for an omegas eyes. "All those muscles didn't help much, did they 'mega?" Red rimmed her pupils as she remained locked on his gaze until she heard someone coming up behind her.
The hand on his face moved down to grip onto the front of what was clearly a bulletproof vest, her other hand reaching down to grab him by the belt around his hips. She yanked him towards her before lifting him off the ground and spinning with him before letting go, throwing him into the first man she encountered. He did at least manage to catch his companion with a grunt before they both collapsed to the ground.
"See, I will be getting out of here, so it's not a matter of whether or not you can stop me. The only question here is how many of you I need to take down on my way. I'd prefer to not kill you, so I kindly ask you to please, get. Out. Of. My way."
She emphasized each word with a sharp, forceful tone as she quickly moved, making her way up the stairs before encountering yet another. As this one rushed down the stairs towards her, she jumped up, grabbing onto the bottom of the railing for the stairs just above her. She swung her legs and nailed the man in his chest before using that momentum to swing back and pull herself up higher on the railing, climbing up and over to the floor above. Y/N ran to the vent that she left open, jumping up and pulling herself inside before she quickly crawled through, making it back to the rooftop easily.
Now that she was in the clear, she took off running, leaping from the roof of the warehouse to another nearby building and continuing on. She intended to put as much distance between herself and them as possible. Her feet carried her effortlessly over the rooftops, free-running having become a standard part of her workout routine to the point that there was zero hesitation when leaping over the gaps between buildings or running along the edge of a balcony. Whatever she needed to do to aid in her means of escape.
There were distant shouts and growls coming from behind her, seemingly having caught onto where she went. They'd never catch up to her at that point though. They had taken too long to find her again after she started through the vents.
Just as she leapt across another building, a loud bang echoed out in the surrounding area. She had assumed it was Longshot, ensuring they ended their pursuit of her. It was barely a second after that thought that she felt the force of the blow push her forward. The force pushed her off balance as she landed, her foot slipping off the edge of the building before falling backwards into a dark alleyway. Before she could hit the ground though, she managed to grab onto the railing of a balcony. The momentum from the fall was too great though and the pressure on her shoulder as she jerked to a sudden stop proved too much. Her shoulder dislocated with a sickening pop before she let go, dropping down to land on her feet.
Y/N remained squatted there for just a moment, irritation growing at the pain of one shoulder being dislocated and the other bleeding with a hole through it from the gunshot. Clenching her teeth, she groaned as she stood to her full height and reached up to her earpiece.
"Longshot, back to base. Same for anyone else who decided to stay behind against orders. On my way back." She pulled bits of cloth out of one of the pockets on her pants, packing it into the wound to staunch the bleeding as she spoke. It's not like she could leave a trail of blood back home after all.
With that, she took off, sticking close to the shadows and weaving through alleyways. She made sure to take the long way around in case any of them were still following close behind.
Once she was positive she wasn't being followed, she made her way home, slipping in through the side door of the garage. The moment she was inside, she was bombarded with questions about what happened. That came to an abrupt halt as someone grabbed her tender shoulder, forcing a yelp to erupt from her lips.
"What the fuck?! Were you shot?!"
Mingi was the one to speak up, yanking her arm out of the jacket sleeve to get a better look.
"Holy shit Y/N, this doesn't look good. Mother is going to be pissed."
She groaned, swatting his hands away before going still at the sound of another voice behind her.
"Please, Y/N. Do tell. Why would I be so angry?"
