Five years. It had been five years since Juliette had stepped foot into Oklahoma, she finished her degree in criminology and hightailed it to Washington D.C. finally putting her finding skills to use as an fbi agent.

Instead of putting herself in harms way by finding storms she did it another way but finding bad people and locking them away for good.

She hadn't seen a tornado -other than on tv- in five years and she wanted it to stay that way, sure sometimes she missed the thrill of the chase but when that feeling came she'd bury herself into paperwork using that thrill to chase criminals instead.

Every once in a while she'd turn on her tv and watched some tornado videos, mainly some idiots called 'Storm Wranglers' because they looked like they were having the most fun.

Which was what she was doing right now, she liked seeing people enjoy the things she used to, because at the end of the day those tornadoes didn't rip their world from them like it did hers, so why should they be deprived of the chaotic beauty.

She finally got home from work about an hour ago and the sun was beginning to rise. She'd buried herself too deep with this new case that wasn't even hers, that she accidentally stayed up all night.

Juliette often did that because her body -ever since the incident- wasn't the same, as embarrassing as it is she's terrified of the dark, and as twenty-three year old it seemed childish, but when the sun rose all her worries faded and she continued on her day like normal until she physically couldn't stay awake anymore.

Currently she was wide awake watching the newest 'Storm Wranglers' video, she admittedly watched them not just for their comedy but for the very charming front man that's always sporting a big white cowboy hat.

She had a thing for hats.

He was always so passionate about what he was doing it made her heart melt, especially when he would rattle off facts to inform his viewers of what was happening. It reminded her a lot of Kate who would do the same while she was working on her projects, knowing Juliette had no clue what was going on.

Juliette hadn't really spoken to Kate much since the incident, sure they'd call every once in a while and Juliette went to New York for Christmas one year, but she knew how hard it was for Kate after the incident so she didn't pry or overwhelm Kate to much.

Now Javi and her kept in touch often, growing closer everyday, she would proudly call him her brother and vise versa. When Javi joined the military after graduating he was stationed in Washington for a while making it much easier for them to communicate.

The phone next to her rang loudly making her slightly flinch at the sound having been so into the episode. Looking at the caller ID she was expecting Cathy to call her like she does every week, but was pleasantly surprised when Javi's name popped up.
