RADLEY

Tonight, we were at the Madame Luo's. The crowd was lively, and their voices made the room shake. I sat on the floor next to October while the rest of the boys ran around. Adam wanted to perform tonight and had decorated his metal brace with sharpie. It didn't look great, but we all gave him a smile since his nose was broken.

"Yeah, and Spider head's my favorite." I smile at October.

"Because you sing it?"

"You know it." I wink. "And, because it sounds like this." I start to play the intro on the electric guitar in my hands. The guitar rumbles in my lap, making me smile as I look up at the red head. "Isn't it pretty?"

"Almost as pretty as you." October retorts and gets up, leaving to go see his brother.

I shook my head and started to mess around with the guitar. March sits down next to me. Oddly close to me, hair falling down his face.

"Don't you think they're acting weird?" March juts his chin at the brothers. "November snapped at me yesterday."

"November snapped at you?" I stop playing the guitar. November never snapped at people, he never yelled. "What did you do?"

"I was helping October. He was freaked out, and I just put on music put up the hammock and he got back and asked me to talk to him and accused me of making a move on his brother." March shook his head, squinting at November, who was talking to the manager.

"That's weird. But--also I've noticed he's just been different on this trip. I figured it was stress, getting place to place with all of us. But it's probably October." I looked over at October, who was messing with Crispin's guitar.

"Guys! Come on, earpieces, show time let's go!" November called us over. We all huddled around him as we put on our earpieces and October played his Nintendo in the corner. "Okay, we're all in this one, you guys ready." November grins.

We all agree loudly before running up stage, the lights dimming. I grabbed the microphone. The lights flash and the music for "Borderline" starts playing, November starts singing from his guitar and I sing back vocals.

"Gone a little far" November leans into the mic, the crowd exploding in front of us. It seemed larger than the night before. The people wore hand-made t-shirts of the band logo.

"Gone a little far this time" November sang with a smile, his voice hitting the perfect note proudly. "With something, how was I supposed to know,"

I glanced back at the curtain, seeing October. October was dancing, spinning around in messy circles, sweater twirling and flowing around him, his hair a mess and his grinned. He saw me and waved excitedly. I smiled and looked back out at the crowd, a new song starting.

"She worked her way through a cheap pack of cigarettes, hard liquor mixed with a big of intellect." I take the microphone, jumping off my stand, singing hard than I ever had. October grinned at me form the side of the stage.

The crowd seemed to have loved the fact that I got closer to them, teasing them and taking their hands. By the end of the show November and Crispin took the show and performed their own songs, while I went backstage.

"You looked so cool!" October waved his hands excitedly while I took out my earpiece.

"Really?" I grinned at him.

"Yes." He grabbed my sleeves eagerly. "I love your voice."

"Really?" I tugged on his sleeves. "Thanks October."

He giggled. "I like my name in your mouth." He tapped my Adams apple before he ran to hug November who was coming off stage.

I was left shocked by such a bold statement, watching as he jumped with November. Since when was this shy kid so bold?
