RADLEY

"I swear to god March if you don't pull over, I'm going to piss all over your new seats!" Adam yelled form the back seat.

We'd been driving for almost two hours, maybe less. And the dumbass was making threats to ruin the car already.

"Oh my god give me a minute, Adam we're in the middle of nowhere!" Roux yelled back, his accent thick with anger and anxiety. He was desperately looking on the map for anywhere that we could stop.

"And if we're in the middle of nowhere, why can't we stop? We're in the middle of the wood's dumbass!" Adam waves a hand out at the fading houses. It wasn't all woods, yet.

November glared at Adam, who was annoyingly looking over the drivers and passengers' seats. October was passed out on his shoulder and curled up on the bench they were sitting on. I didn't get the kid, why did he have to come with us?

"Here!" Roux yelled out, making the van twist and Adam went flying against the wall with a deserved yell. The van pulled up to a run-down looking gas station. The windows were boarded and the sign flickered above us.

"Thank god!" Adam ran out of the van, almost falling on the cement as he bolted towards the run-down building.

"Let's all get out." March sighed and opened his door.

I'd finally get a smoke break, thank God. I glanced at November again. He normally smoked with me. But he was nudging October awake and checking on him. I sighed and got out, climbing on top of the van and lit a cigarette.

I saw November jump out of the van and follow after March and Roux. Crispin stood off to the side taking a call. I jumped down from the roof and saw October sitting alone in the van. He looked up at me with big green eyes.

"Why are you coming with us?"

"I'm planning to be the next Elvis." He states simply, focused on his Nintendo switch.

"Ah, joining the band."

"I can't sing for shit." October admitted, avoiding looking me in the eye. His fingers were bandaged with colorful wrappings, hello kitty, toy story, dead pool.

"You play guitar?"

"If you're tone deaf." October smiled.

"I like you, you're sassy."

"I'm the superior brother, aren't I?"

I kicked back my feet on the bench, blowing smoke off my lips. "We don't tell that to November, do we?"

October winked back, messing with the sleeves of his sweater. I heard the rumble of boys heading our way, so I threw the cigarette out on the ground.

"What's with your names?"

"The months we were born with." October replied simply.

"Creative."

"I've got a lot to make up for it with." November sat down next to him, glancing at me. No, giving me a warning look. He didn't want me around his little brother. But I never listen so I smiled at October.

"I'm sure you do. Show me some time, maybe something non-musical?"

"I've got a few of those up my sleeve." October agreed as more boys joined us.

"Adam move over, your sweaty ass is on my pillow." Crispin shoved Adam off his person pillow, making Adam yell out as he took his second hit of the day, on the floor.

"Okay we're not stopping until we make it to Washington all of you better shut up!" March yelled form the front seat of the van.
