Chapter 1: Meeting Bella

Life hasn't been easy since my mother died. My dad and I encountered a human named Hiccup, and together we had some incredible adventures. However, everything changed when we met a Light Fury named Luna. While I don't hold her responsible for the dragons leaving Berk, I can't shake the worry that my father might forget about my mother. It feels selfish, I know, but it's hard not to feel that way.

I've taken on the role of a sister to three Night Lights: Dart, the eldest and only girl, and her two troublemaking brothers, Pouncer and Ruffrunner. They seem to get away with everything, I can't get away with anything less my life depended on it.

We were frozen in time by some witch. All dragons in the hidden world were, but now we're back. In the mid 2000s.... WE WERE FROZEN FOR ...

2007 - 1016 = 991.

991 YEARS!!! (I think)

Fortunately, I've discovered that we can transform into humans. This ability has allowed us to reintegrate into society, although some of us had to change our names to blend in with the world we had missed for nearly a millennium. Thankfully, my name remained the same. My dad reverted to his original name and took Hiccup's last name. Luna now works as a history teacher at my school, while my dad has become a wildlife vet.

I walked downstairs, see my dad and Luna putting their shoes on. "Where are you off to?" I ask. Dad looked up with a smile, "Next door," he said, "Chief Swan's daughter just came." I arched an eyebrow, intrigued, as I quickly slipped on my shoes. I picked up my pace, determined to catch up with my dad's long strides. We walked side by side until we reached our neighbours' house, where four other people stood waiting.

"Ah, Bella. These are the Haddock's, Taji, Luna their kids Dart, Pouncer and Ruffrunner and Taji's daughter Savirah" Charlie introduced. I smiled softly at the newcomers, feeling a warmth spread through me despite my initial shyness. "Nice to meet you, Bella," I said, hoping to make a good impression. She gives a quick smile before turning her attention onto an orange pick-up truck. "So that's why you couldn't hang out!" I teased Jacob, noting his familiar rolling eyes and playful demeanour. "Yeah, well, she needed something," he replied, a hint of defensiveness lacing his tone.

I raised my hands in mock surrender. Bella approached the truck, her awe apparent as her admiration lit up her expression. "This?" she breathed, edging closer. "Just bought it off Billy here," Charlie interjected. Jacob's grin widened, and he puffed out his chest a little, clearly pleased with the attention his work received.

"I rebuilt the engine for you," Jacob said, his voice filled with pride as he leaned against the truck, showcasing the labour and love he poured into the restoration. Bella's eyes sparkled as she thanked him, her genuine appreciation palpable. However, in her eagerness to jump into the truck, she inadvertently swung the door and bumped Jacob on the head. "Oops! Sorry!" she exclaimed, laughter bubbling forth at the comical mishap.

"Maybe I could give you a ride to school?" Bella suggested, her gaze turning hopeful as it landed on Jacob. He shook his head firmly, an amused yet gentle refusal escaping his lips. "I go to school on the reservation," he replied lightly, leaving a hint of disappointment to settle in the air.

"Oh right, that's too bad," Bella responded, her voice tinged with a hint of sorrow. "It would've been nice to know at least one person." Eager to bridge the gap and make her feel a little less isolated, I chimed in, "Oh yeah, I go to the same school as you, Bella! And Luna works there as a teacher." Bella's face brightened at my words, her smile widening as she realized she wouldn't be entirely alone.

...

Me: It wasn't too many words (646 accurately) but still good

Jacob: Nice job

Me: oh, and this is a little quick of me to ask since this hasn't been on for very long but don't forget to choose her lover. Again, it's out of Sam Uley, Jared Cameron, Jacob Black and Seth Clearwater.

Edward: This is going too quickly

Me: I have nothing better to do okay!
